Temple of Priests Building, She'kel Village.
Ronan and Janis were at the Main Training Room. They were both topless and sweating with their fists close to their faces as they faced each other.
Vooom!
Janis suddenly dashed forward.
Pah!
Pah!
Pah!
And then threw a few rear hooks on Ronan's upper left and then delivered one left hook on Ronan's lower right, all of which were lightly blocked.
Pah.
While Janis was pulling his left fist back, Ronan countered with a quick jab to Janis' chin, using his palm, causing Janis' brain to rattle a bit.
Pah, pah, pah, pah, pah, pah...!
While Janis was still momentarily stunned, Ronan took a step closer and then delivered a series of punches to Janis's chest and stomach.
Chud!
As Ronan stopped and then twisted his right shoulder to deliver a final and heavy blow, Janis, spat out the blood on his mouth to air from the punches he suffered and then bear-hugged Ronan.
"ARRRGGGHHH…!!!" both men grunted as Janis was trying to push Ronan down, while Ronan was trying to stand his ground and break away from the bear-hug of Janis.
Pa-crack!
With the combination of being topless, sweaty and the blood coming out of Janis' mouth, Ronan was able to slip his right arm off the bear-hug and then delivered an elbow to the back of Janis' skull.
Pah, pah, pah!
When Ronan felt Janis' bear-hug lose its grip a bit, he immediately distanced himself a bit as he grabbed a handful of Janis' hair with his left hand, and then started delivering a series of punches to Janis' left jaw.
Pa-crack!
Thud!
He broke Janis' jaw on the last blow, causing Janis to fall to the wooden floor on his stomach.
Tap!
Ronan knelt down and then placed his hand on Janis' left shoulder.
[Greater Heal].
A golden light enveloped Janis' body and all of his wounds were healed.
When Ronan heard Janis coughing and spitting out blood and the extra teeth in his mouth, he sat down on the floor.
"6-3…" he said with a heavy breath.
Janis slowly got up and sat down on the floor as well, and then looked at Ronan with a smile.
"I think I've had enough…"
Ronan nodded.
Thud.
"Okay…" he said and then laid down on the floor.
Janis shook his head.
"That was something. I really need to update my melee fighting skills."
"You're part of the Air Division… I'd be completely helpless if we were to fight for real without any rules..." Ronan said without looking at him and continued to lie down on the floor.
Janis chuckled.
"But once you take out my mount, that's the end of me."
Ronan got up and then looked at him.
"That is if you'll even let me take out your mount," he said with a grin.
They both chuckled.
Ronan stopped chuckling and stared at a window.
"4 years ago, I was on this Field Mission.
"At that time, I was still a Lieutenant and we were at the Sab'bia Desert hunting a group of demon-kin Necromancers.
"When we finally found them and attacked their base, we were all caught in a surprise that 3 of them had mastered the [Savage Mastery].
"I've fought range enemies before. And usually, they would just run or escape. But this group, they didn't and actually fought back. They also used [Dark Halo] combined with [Lesser Chaos Enchant], so they had unlimited mana, at least for flying.
"Two of them had a Mana Sword and a Mana Axe, while the third one had Mana Bow.
"We were able to deal with the two who had the Mana Sword and the Mana Axe. But the one with Mana Bow, it was a different story. He would keep his distance while constantly harassing us with his arrows and skills that he ended up killing more than half of our squad.
"I remember carrying the bodies of my teammates while we tried to run away.
"But after about 15 minutes of running and dodging, back-up finally arrived and he was taken care, and then I was rewarded with the High Lieutenant rank after that.
"But ever since that experience, it made me realize the power of flight."
"You have [Savage Mastery]?" Janis asked.
"Yes, but I don't even have the [Blood Drinker] skill yet."
To be specific, his [Savage Master] was still Level 2.
"How do you exactly level that up? I've heard that a lot of people would quit halfway because they would spend months training it and not see or feel any increase in its Mastery.
Unlike the other Physical Arts, [Savage Mastery] was the only Physical Art that didn't have a Low-Tier Skill. It only had a Mid-Tier and a High-Tier Skill, specifically, [Blood Drinker] and [Primordial Beast].
"From what I know, training [Savage Mastery] requires you to fight in a way that's beast-like."
Janis raised an eyebrow.
"Fight in a way that's beast-like?"
Ronan nodded.
"That's the best description I could give."
"How do you exactly fight 'beast-like'?"
"You bite your opponent, you rip your opponent apart, something like that."
Janis' jaw dropped.
"What…?"
"But once you learn its Mid-Tier Skill, [Blood Drinker], you can just train [Savage Mastery] by casting that skill over and over again."
"So you've been biting and ripping your opponents apart…?"
Ronan shook his head.
"Let me explain."
Janis held out both his hands and waved them with an understanding smile on his face.

"Sure…" Janis said and then his eyes subconsciously looked away.
"I accidentally opened the [Savage Mastery] while I was fighting a demon-kin on Field Mission. I was trying to pin him down, but he kept regenerating his limbs, so I had to rip them out."
"You couldn't use a sword or something…?"
"While the demon-kin was lying on its stomach, I had my Mana Sword stabbed into its back, pinning it to the ground, and I had my other hand ripping its arms."
Janis nodded.
"I see now. That's how it was. But why was the demon-kin in that position?"
"We were trying to interrogate him about his group's lair."
"How much mana does it cost?"
"The what?"
"The [Blood Drinker] skill."
"They say it's like casting 1 [Greater Heal] spell and 1 Low-Tier skill, like [Power Fist]."

Ronan nodded.

Janis stared at the floor for a moment before returning his gaze to Ronan.
"Sister Inquisitor Monad said she's currently training [Savage Mastery]. Do you think she already has [Blood Drinker]?"
"Probably."
"Do you have any idea how she got it at her age?"
"You could ask her."
Janis recalled all of his "moments" with Vivian.
"It's fine. I still have to train my main Masteries."
"Are you afraid of her, brother?"
Janis pointed at himself.
"Me?" he said and then waved his hand. "Of course not! I'm actually terrified of her!"
They both laughed.
And after about a healthy amount of laughter, Ronan's face turned into a serious expression.
"So you noticed it too?"
Janis raised an eyebrow.
"Noticed what?"
"Did you hear what happened between her and Sister Leah?"
Janis' brows knitted together.
"Sister Leah…?"
"Sister Leah is the wife of Brother Kadmiel and mother of Brother Emmanuel."
"Oh…! Yes, yes, what about her?"
"You heard that she and Sister Inquisitor Monad almost got into a fight, right?"
Janis nodded.
"Yes."
"When Sister Dinah, Brother Theodore and I got there, Brother Inquisitor Wind and Councilor Pablo were already between Sister Inquisitor Monad and Sister Leah, preventing them from getting into a fight.
"And you know what surprised me at that time?
"Although the fight was already starting to de-escalate, the killing intent that Sister Inquisitor Monad was something."
Janis knitted his brows.

Vivian was about to cast [Blood Drinker] again, but nothing came out.

The moment the golden ring started to manifest on her back, the dark red lightning crawled from her hand, and then to the ring. Once all of the lightning was absorbed, the ring was x4 bigger than its normal size, but was bent a bit due to the location of where Vivian was currently at.

Vivian reverted to her human form. And the moment she transformed into a human, a wave of pains suddenly struck her: headache, and lower back and abdominal pains. And of course, she also felt like peeing, but it was just her period blood.
