Chapter 922 - Chapter 920: The Trembling Cloud Peak

Boom!

As Meisha glared at Muria with intense hatred, Muria, who had been calmly watching the spectacle, didn't hesitate. He threw a punch, and a brilliant white force struck Meisha square in the face like a cannonball.

Meow!

Meisha's head jerked to the side from the impact, but it quickly turned back toward Muria, letting out another roar—one that completely lacked any intimidation. With its eyes bloodshot, Meisha lunged furiously at Muria.

Facing the enraged beast king, whose body far surpassed his own in raw strength, Muria naturally didn't confront it head-on. His three pairs of wings flapped, and he instantly vanished from his previous position.

Meow!

Seeing Muria take to the skies, Meisha immediately spread its wings and shot after him, moving like a black blur with thunderous speed. As it neared Muria, sonic booms erupted behind it, sounding like explosions.

"Not bad speed!" Muria commented as he ascended, evading Meisha's attack. As Meisha passed just below him, Muria stomped downward without hesitation.

A visible shockwave rippled out from where Muria's foot struck Meisha, amplifying the force of Meisha's own momentum. The impact sent Meisha crashing diagonally into one of the peaks of Cloud Peak.

The immense force flattened the upper half of the mountain, sending clouds of dust billowing into the air. But the dust was quickly blown away by Meisha's wings, revealing the black beast, seemingly unharmed.

Meow!

Meisha let out another roar, but this time, halfway through, it forcibly stopped itself—the sound was too humiliating, far from the majestic roar it intended.

"Nice sound! You should roar a few more times," Muria teased, smirking. Meisha glared back at him, clearly understanding his mockery, but it refused to roar again until its voice returned to normal.

Meisha lunged at Muria, determined to make him pay for stealing its dignity and its mighty roar.

"Impressive—ranged attacks, a strong body, agility, and it seems you can control the wind too!" Muria noted, observing the currents swirling around Meisha. "But despite your natural strength, you have no technique. You're just a powerful beast."

As Meisha charged at him again, Muria dodged with pinpoint precision. As they passed each other, he casually pressed his hand against its body and redirected its momentum, slamming it into another mountain.

With ease, Muria employed the technique of using minimal force to deflect Meisha's massive power, repeatedly sending it crashing into Cloud Peak's rocky terrain.

Boom! Boom!

Using his superior technique, Muria tossed Meisha across Cloud Peak again and again, leaving the area littered with craters.

Meow!

After being thrown yet again, Meisha roared in frustration, summoning its guardians to assist it. It could no longer tolerate being toyed with by Muria.

However, this time, its summons went unanswered. Its guardians, the Shadow Beasts, hesitated, exchanging uncertain glances.

Meow!

Growing angrier, Meisha let out a roar filled with rage, and only then did the Shadow Beasts react, spreading their wings and rushing toward Muria to fulfill their duty.

"You couldn't handle me yourself, so what good will it do to bring them along?" Muria said, completely unafraid as the hundred or so Shadow Beasts swarmed him. "They're just like flying dragons that I can knock down with one hit."

As he spoke, Muria kicked one Shadow Beast out of the air and followed up with a slash of energy, breaking another's wing. Without their wings, these creatures were grounded and rendered useless.

"Meisha, submit to me! Your fate is sealed—you will become my mount today. Stop resisting!" Muria hovered in the air, smiling at the enraged Meisha across from him.

Beneath him lay a hundred Shadow Beasts, their wings broken, left in impotent fury. Each one had been brought down by Muria during the brief battle.

Meow!

Understanding Muria's words, Meisha let out a defiant roar. Its voice conveyed contempt, scorn, and rage.

"It seems that even my skills aren't enough to make you surrender!" Muria sighed. Despite having thrown Meisha around repeatedly, he had never truly harmed it. This allowed Meisha to remain defiant, determined to tear him apart.

"Well then, I guess I'll have to beat you into submission!" Muria exhaled, a bit disappointed. Glowing divine patterns reappeared across his body, and blinding light burst forth from him.

In an instant, Muria transformed into a towering figure of light, his radiant form expanding to about ten meters tall.

Muria had pushed the Ikkon's Bagdad cultivation method to its limits. His current strength was at its peak, and to grow any further, he would need to find a new path, transcending the limits of the Bagdad's divine pattern system.

Although his cultivation had reached its limit, his combat power could still be enhanced. Muria had developed a secret technique that temporarily multiplied his strength several times over, at the cost of leaving him weakened afterward.

Now, for the first time, Muria activated the technique he had named "Burning Light." His physical capabilities soared to five times their normal levels, though the longer he maintained it, the longer his recovery would take.

"How's it going up there?"

Below Cloud Peak, the Ikkon people who had come to witness Muria's conquest of Meisha were growing anxious and excited. They had seen Muria storm into Cloud Peak with an unstoppable presence, easily dispatching the Shadow Beasts.

However, after Muria entered, they could no longer see anything. All they could hear were faint roars and strange meowing sounds coming from within Cloud Peak.

Boom!

Suddenly, a massive tremor shook Cloud Peak. The enormous mountain range visibly quivered, and chunks of stone began falling from its slopes. It seemed as if Cloud Peak might collapse entirely.

Next, the onlookers saw a massive mushroom cloud rise from the center of Cloud Peak, obscuring the sky. The mountain quaked again, visibly trembling.

"I can't take it anymore! Even if I get caught in the crossfire, I'll risk it. I have to see how Ull is conquering Meisha!" One of the Bagdad warriors, frustrated and curious, mounted his Blue Creek Beast and shot into the air toward Cloud Peak.

His bold move sparked a wave of others. One by one, the Ikkon people mounted their companions and followed, rushing toward the trembling mountain range.

When they reached Cloud Peak, what they saw would remain etched in their memories forever.

A towering giant of light was gripping Meisha, the so-called King of the Sky, by the head with one hand. With the other, the giant was relentlessly pounding Meisha's head, each punch sending shockwaves rippling through the air.

Meisha, in agony, struggled violently. Its wings flapped, sending out razor-sharp wind blades, and its powerful claws furiously tore at the giant's body. Yet, each time it ripped through the giant's form, the damage quickly healed, making its efforts seem futile.

But the attacks were effective enough to allow Meisha to briefly break free of the giant's grip. Just as it was about to spread its wings and escape, the giant grabbed its tail and slammed it back into the ground.

Boom!

Where Meisha collided with Cloud Peak, a massive spiderweb of cracks spread across the terrain. Once again, Cloud Peak trembled, and more stones fell to the earth below.

This was the cause of the mountain's trembling—a powerful being repeatedly smashing Meisha into it.

"Is that Lord Ull?" The first Bagdad warrior to reach Cloud Peak stared in disbelief at the giant of light, who was single-handedly pummeling Meisha.

"Probably…," another Bagdad responded, equally unsure.

"Meisha is being completely overpowered. This is terrifying!"

"As expected of Lord Ull, even when facing Meisha, he remains unbeatable!"

"Today marks the moment Lord Ull becomes the King of Ayaire!"
