"Wait, what did you say?" August was shocked by the report.
"Cecilio just reported that one of the groups he tried to politely invite beat him until he was forced to teleport," The underline repeated.
"It looks like someone is trying to challenge you, August," Michael said playfully.
"There has to be some misunderstanding...
But they did challenge me, I can't leave it alone." August thought out loud seriously.
"What about we help you?" Michael said while smiling.
"We?" Absko asked with a disdainful face.
"Yes Absko, it would be good to see a bit of the MA. We kept fighting in the HA from the begging, that is too boring." Michael argued with Absko.
"Fine, but only today." Absko was accepted with a helpless smile.
...
It would become dark in about two hours. Blake and the girls were on their way to the alliance camp to have dinner together and their first official meeting.
Meanwhile, in the camp, Absko, Michael, August, and Cecilio arrived from the front of the Death Flag Alliance's camp.
"Who was the one that beat you?" August asked Cecilio while seeing all the members of the camp arrive.
"Hello friends, may I know the reason for the ranks one, two, and ten come to my little camp?" Joe said respectfully in front of the four of them, while the rest of the members waited around two meters behind Joe.
"He was the one" Cecilio whispered to August.
"Was it you who beat my underline?" August asked Joe with a firm voice
"What if I tell you it was?" Joe answered confidently.
"Why?" August answered with another question.
"I just hate tyrants, and when someone tries to put themselves above me, I have to at least see their capabilities, right?" Joe answered with a bit of arrogance.
Joe wasn't dumb, and he knew that if they fight right now, they would be annihilated in seconds. Moreover, the confrontation between the two parties was inevitable.
Therefore, Joe just wanted to buy some time by using his words. Once reinforcement arrived, the chances of winning would increase exponentially.
"Are you telling me that you beat my underline to see if he was worth you submitting to my alliance?" August tried to make reason from Joe's words.
"Let me ask you this: If someone appeared on your door forcing you to submit to someone you don't know, wouldn't you beat him up?" Joe said with determination.
"You liar! I didn't force you to do anything. You are the one who suddenly sneaks attack me because of your hate for our alliance." Cecilio screamed furiously.
"Are you telling me that you can beat me in a fair one on one fight?" Joe replied mockingly.
"Of course, I would never lose for a lowly rank 85 as you. I research you. You just created an alliance, right? We are your competitor, that is why you attacked me." Cecilio replied even more angrily.
"Is it true that you created an alliance too?" August said with a cold voice, imposing his presence to the fullest.
"Yes, we are the Death Flag Alliance. Anyway, what I said before still is the truth," Joe said proudly.
"It seems there is no more doubt. We are competitors, even if what you said was the truth, I can't allow you to get away with it." August said decisively.
"And who do you think you are to give sentences in others' territory." At this moment Blake Arrived behind him with Vasha on his side.
The other girls were nowhere to be seen.
"I'm the Rankers' leader, and who are you?" August replied with the same coldness.
"I'm the Death Flag Alliance's vice-leader. Since we are at Death Fag Alliance's territory, I held more status than you." Blake said domineering.
Just seeing this scene, made Vasha remember good moments in her past.
"Let's see if you have the power to back your words. Absko, if you may," Agust declared while smiling.
Absko then stepped forward exalting strength, confidence, and mainly... annoyance. He was displeased to fight "by orders".
"Boys, do you really think a fight may solve anything?" Vasha said in a loud voice attracting everyone's attention.
Vasha then looked at Absko's eyes and blinked.
Her eyes then turned black, and Absko's eyes also turned black.
"Come here, little boy. Come will the cool people." Vasha said calmly to Absko.
Absko then walked to her side and hold his sword at August's group's direction.
"What the fuck just happened?" Cecilio asked in shock.
August was also a bit confused by the situation.
"He is being mentally controlled. She must be a mind mage." Michael explained.
"But was it possible for a mind mage to develop this well during so little time?" August asked Michael.
"What the fuck have you been doing, August? Didn't you learn from the reports of MA? She must be Vasha, the Demon Queen," Michael answered annoyed by August's incapability to think logically. It was as if he was much dumber than he used to be in the simulation.
"The other Crazy Demonesses should be around too. It will be extremely hard to win this battle. This time we lost due to a lack of information gathering." Michael added.
"Hey, you. You are the leader, right?
Free my friend and we are going to back off, is it good for you?" Michael said to Joe tactfully.
But, now that Joe's reinforcement arrived, he was extremely confident.
"No, you and Absko can go, but August and Cecilio cannot," Joe said confidently.
Right now, The Rankers' influence was by far their strongest weapon. If it was known that they were defeated, and their leader killed by his alliance. I would be a huge blow to The Rankers and a huge improvement to the Death Flag Alliance.
"You are being too greedy boy, I know what you are thinking," August said coldly.
"You think you guys are enough to defeat us?" August added.
"And what makes you think that it is just us?" Blake said as domineering as ever.
At that moment, not only did the other four Demonesses get out of their hiding, but thirty more hobgoblins also appeared.
"It seems you guys made your decision," Michal said in a cold voice that didn't fit his usual personality.
He then pointed one of his fingers at Vasha. From that finger, a small energy bullet was formed.
Blake realized what was happening, and decisively pulled Vasha at him.
However, it was too late. A hole appeared on Vasha's head, between her eyebrows. Her body felt lifeless at Blake's body just before being teleported.
That brought back memories of his parent death in Blake's mind.
His mind was spinning with anger and coldness.
At this moment, Blake's eyes looked like an abyss of terror. As if it was trying to all the life in came into contact.
"Blake! Put yourself together! She isn't dead, she was only teleported to the hall!" Joe screamed to Blake, trying to bring his friend back from this abyss.
Meanwhile, Blake who had just woke up, was confused by what just happened.
Moreover, the four Demoness also got speechless.
However, Joe's words woke up everyone from their trance.
Except for Blake.
Blake was still lost in his own mind.
Absko saw that and decided to take the opportunity to attack, while Michael was preparing to shoot Joe.
When Absko attacked Blake, a surge of spiritual energy overflowed from the latter.
Blake just "level up" again.
After this Blake stood up confidently again, but his eyes continue to be like the abyss. It was all black as when Vasha activated her skill, but it exuded an aura totally different.
While Vasha's eyes were just simply black as if she settled her character to have those eyes, Blake's eyes were like it push you to them. They penetrate you and gives a sense of fear deep down the others' heart.
When Absko looked at it, he felt a sense of helpless... he hated that feeling.
Absko, direct launched a half-moon strike to kill Blake in one hit.
But to the surprise of everyone looking at it, the strike missed Blake.
Mallory then appeared behind Absko striking her endless attack sequence.
However, Absko still looked to have the upper hand in the exchange.
But only before Chiki joined.
Chiki who was also looking from the back, made a sneak attack at Cecilio to start an exchange. But, to her surprise, he couldn't dodge one of the knives, and the battle between Chiki and the injured Cecilio didn't take even half a minute.
Chiki usually prefers to kill her opponent slowly by making small cuts all over their bodies and letting them perish by blood loss.
But, this time she was furious by the sudden shot at her sister's head.
The bottle between Absko against Mallory and Chiki came to a tied.
Even though Absko was in fewer numbers, he could skilfully change between his weapons to block all the incoming attacks and even counterattack sometimes.
That is until Chiki used her skill and transformed herself into a girl with standard beauty, brown eyes, and blond hair.
She then started to send fire through her hands as a flamethrower.
When she realized that Absko got used to the change in her ability and the exchange came back to a tied again, Chiki changed herself again, letting the two get the upper hand again.
Chiki changed into a boy that could throw small mana knives, then another one that could involve their body in mana to increase his status and some more.
She even turned into Abel once.
However, every time she change, she only used one skill.
As the fight went on, Chiki and Mallory took down the ranked number one, Absko.
