BELLADONNA finally looked up from her breakfast.
Her father had been staring at her for quite some time now.
More importantly, there was something increasingly heated about his gaze, as though she were some abhorrent daughter who had spent her entire life giving him headaches without the slightest care for his poor heart.
Which, admittedly, wasn't entirely wrong.
But he had been staring for too long.
"Father, are you going to have a heart attack?" Belladonna asked while calmly cutting a piece of her steak. "Your face is red all over. Should we call an Imperial Physician?"
Lily looked up at her grandfather and noticed the same thing. "How about you go back to your room and rest first, Grandfather? As for the matters of the Empire, let the Crown Princess handle them."
It was time to let the idle Crown Princess do something.
Belladonna gave her daughter a brief look before unhurriedly saying, "That sounds good. It's also time for Lily to learn about the affairs of the state."
