Normally, ordinary beasts wouldn't willingly approach cultivators. Those that did were called Savage Beasts. They attacked and killed whoever crossed their path. However, Savage Beasts were usually found in dark forests where Dark Mages resided and experimented on ordinary beasts.
Lily gave the dead Savage Beast a look.

As an ordinary beast, it would have appeared as nothing more than a massive, majestic silver wolf. But after becoming a Savage Beast, its eyes had turned completely black, and a dark mass constantly surrounded its body.
Dark Mages had done a lot of stupid things over the years. One of them was turning ordinary beasts into Savage Beasts.
