Chapter 31 - Chapter 30: The Grand Priest's Unfathomable Power

Lucifer cast a discerning glance at Vados before gently retracting the scepter, a calm demeanor enveloping him.

"Patience," he advised with a serene smile. "Let's not hasten. Once we establish this as superspace, everything will fall neatly into place."

"As I further harness my Angelic power, rest assured, Vados, I shall return to unite with you in matrimony," Lucifer assured her, his commitment unwavering.

Ever since his transformation into an Angel and assuming human form, Lucifer had cultivated a profound understanding of the Angelic lineage. Angels, from their very birth, bore within them a unique reservoir of Angelic power—a testament to their inherent talent. Lucifer was quick to concede that his own Angelic power had been exceptionally robust since birth, significantly surpassing that of the novice Angel, Myers.

Yet, to augment one's Angelic power in the later stages, a harmonious connection with the balance of the Universe was imperative. When the Universe maintained equilibrium, it dispensed the essence of existence—the essence of the Universe itself. Angels, in turn, absorbed this essence to amplify their power. However, if the Universe's balance teetered towards the precarious, growth became stymied, if not entirely negated.

Conversely, when there existed an abundance of planets but a dearth of inhabitants, the resulting excess of resources led major planets to greedily absorb the Universe's essence. This was precisely why Moro had grown so potent after consuming numerous planets. Nevertheless, Moro's capacity for absorption paled in comparison to that of an Angel. A single planet could only assimilate a fraction of the Universe's essence, while Angels absorbed the essence of the entire Universe. Thus, many Angels ardently pursued the sustenance of Universal balance—a higher equilibrium facilitated a more abundant flow of Universe essence, hastening the growth of an Angel's strength.

Yet, as time meandered forward, the Angelic family had attained such pinnacle might that they no longer concerned themselves with the delicate equilibrium of the Universe. Such responsibilities were now entrusted to the Gods of Destruction and Supreme Kai, allowing the Angels to indulge in the pleasures of life with carefree abandon.

Lucifer, deep in thought, marveled at the colossal power wielded by the Grand Priest. The Grand Priest absorbed the essence of twelve universes, notwithstanding the existence of an eighteen-universe configuration in the past. Lucifer tentatively estimated that the Grand Priest's might exceeded that of at least eighteen Angels combined. With his current Angelic potency, Lucifer understood that the path to surpassing the Grand Priest was fraught with strenuous effort.

Without a moment's hesitation, Lucifer returned to the swirling vortex of time and space, vanishing from view.

"Vados, I shall return once both the God of Destruction and Supreme Kai are sufficiently trained. The moment is not yet opportune," he declared.

However, he reemerged from the whirlpool soon after. This time, Lucifer peered intently through the crystal ball at the entirety of the Gods of Destruction world in the sixth universe. He closely scrutinized its structure, which bore a striking resemblance to that of the seventh universe.

"This God of Destruction world holds tremendous promise," he mused. "I must seize an opportunity to integrate it into my GT world."

After a moment's contemplation, Lucifer deferred his visit to the Zeno Temple for a later date.

In the GT World on Earth, Son Gohan and his comrades launched a fierce onslaught against the adversaries from Hell. They effortlessly repelled numerous foes, yet Dr. Myuu and Dr. Gero, through a brilliant fusion, became two formidable beings—No. 17s—ultimately giving birth to Super 17.

Meanwhile, in the depths of Hell, Son Goku crossed paths with Cell and Moro.

"Cell, Frieza, come forth and confront me," Son Goku beckoned, his voice resonating with an unmistakable aura of determination.

Cell and Frieza exchanged bewildered glances.

"Who is this individual?" Cell inquired, perplexed.

"It appears to be Son Goku," Frieza contemplated. "Could he have undergone a transformation of some sort?"

"Are you, in fact, Son Goku?" Frieza inquired directly.

"Indeed, I am none other than Son Goku," he confirmed, his voice resonating with conviction. "However, my current state may be unrecognizable to you; I stand before you as Super Saiyan Part 4."

"Super Saiyan IV?" Cell voiced his astonishment, his countenance reflecting genuine surprise. "I must admit, I am unfamiliar with this form. Could you elucidate?"

Frieza, too, harbored skepticism. But before they could react, Son Goku confidently proclaimed, "Observe, gentlemen, that there is no necessity for me to evade an energy projectile of this magnitude. I can effortlessly disperse it with the force of my own energy."

His assertion was immediately substantiated as he allowed an energy attack to strike him, only for it to harmlessly disintegrate against the protective cocoon of his energy aura.

Frieza stood flabbergasted, slowly recognizing the depth of his underestimation of Son Goku.

Yet, the most astounding revelation was still to unfold. In an instant, Son Goku materialized behind Frieza with an extraordinary swiftness, leaving Cell utterly confounded.

"Frieza, he is now positioned directly behind you," Cell urgently warned.

Startled, Frieza swiveled around to discover Son Goku standing there.

"Frieza, have you genuinely evolved since your demise?" Son Goku expressed his disappointment, his tone tinged with a measure of regret.

"Wh-what is transpiring here?" Frieza protested, both bewildered and in pain.

"You ought to have witnessed a marked improvement over the years," Son Goku continued, shaking his head, his focus now shifting towards Cell.

Cell trembled in trepidation, gradually realizing that Son Goku was a far more formidable adversary than he had initially surmised.
