Chapter 432 - Chapter 432: Eclipses

"So you're one of the folks that got booted out of Orochi, huh?" Harvard asked, as the group kept walking to their destination, Lupina in tow. Koina struggled to get out of the monster's jaws, but nothing was able to let her escape. She'd sigh as she'd look down towards the child, seeing his innocent smile, despite the fact he was the reason such a beast came to be.

"Pretty much. ORIGINALLY I was hoping to strike everything at the dead of night, where everyone was sleeping. I was hoping to prove to that no-good lizard that one doesn't need brute force to kill someone, until I saw... well..." Koina paused herself as she reminisced about such a glow King presented, how in such a small moment, even when her men were gone, she didn't regret coming back to the one place she truly missed.

"The big light?"

"Y-Yes!" She snapped out of her nostalgic trance once Harvard saw her daze. "Having to live my life in the dark for so long... it felt exhausting to my eyes and heart. It felt like the world was weighing me down at every second, up until I saw that light..."

"You can thank Adel for that!" Harvard would point towards the Human Serpent, stunting the woman. She didn't even had the chance to ask or to confirm, as the moment Adel heard his name, he nodded like a madman, his wild hair bouncing freely, reflected by the sun's rays.

"D'ah... thanks I guess??"

"You're welcome! Now, The whole living outside of Orochi. That meant you know the other kingdoms here, right?"

"ARE YOU SERIOUSLY TRYING TO USE ME AS YOUR PERSONAL ATLAS!?"

"Yes!"

"...Least you're straight to the point." A growl was heard from Lupina, suspecting the assassin of whatever sarcasm or petty wit being delivered to the boy, but Harvard merely pet it on its front legs to comfort the wolf-like monstrosity. Koina grew nervous with each passing moment, her mind wandering on when would the beast devour her whole, but chose not to focus on such matters. She wouldn't be able to do much if she's constantly afraid of the unknown. "Well, there IS at least something you should watch out. I assume those two told you about what's going on in the circle?" She asked, gesturing her head to the two descendants. The boy nodded as she'd continue. "Alright, should hopefully cut down the exposition then. Are you aware of what's going to happen to them?"

"Black with White, Yin with Yang. He who destroys, and She who Creates. Two fish, two hearts. One beats for the other. If either falls, both will have their eternal slumber, That right?" Solomon interrupted, already thinking on how such an Apocalypse would even be made.

"R-right, actually! Supposedly the Black Eclipse comes and just... wipes everything out. Doesn't take a genius to know that the Kingdoms would most likely try to target them as much as they can if they're allied with... eugh... THAT guy."

"That reminds me... Are you SURE that the second the Eclipse comes, we're all dead?" A pause to the woman, as well as a revelation for Harvard, as he'd understand his friend's words. Before he could say anything, however, Solomon made sure to keep the Card Magician's mouth shut as he kept talking. "So, here's MY theory. Me and my friends already saw what happens with an Eclipse, basic school stuff that SOMEONE!" He paused himself as he stared at Harvard straight in his eyes. "...Should've learned by now. What if Sozo's trying to do that exact same thi-"

"AABHSHASVND, Wait! For future talks, do not mention his name."

"....Huh?"

Koina would take a deep breath as she'd look up to the sky, trying her hardest to visualize that light she saw again, that hope that she wished to attain. "Ever since THAT Man has entered Orochi, it felt more... barbaric than usual. Taro made no shortage of ensuring the place was a war zone already, but THAT man.... I don't know. Every time I look at him, it feels like I'm watching the edge of a cliff, as if I was about to fall off and never get back up again. I feel like he did something to my home that... made it worse for those around me." A grip was visible across her palm, digging her nails into her own skin, a contempt visible from her face. The two boys looked amongst one another, confused about how much Sozo has caused, but would try to abide by her wishes.

"Alright. As I was saying... what if THAT man is trying to use that same Solar Eclipse? He's trying to set up his forces to attack Tsukiya, which would probably have her magic mega-amped if the eclipse occurs. Basically a massive counter against whatever THAT man is plotting up away from others." A sound theory presented, making the woman ponder at such a thought, finally letting Harvard speak once Solomon removed his hand away from his mouth.

"YEAH! Not to mention considering his whole wasteland attack on a Kingdom outside, Whatever magic he has would most likely coat the planet with it!"

"He committed genocide on a Kingdom??"

"That's what I heard from the two guys who were chasing us..."

As the boys discussed on such a prophecy being more than a mere future event, Shady would feel a twinge as he'd try to let the box up, seeing that something was going through the lock, picking at it. A small dribble of a white powder came out of the lock, watching it be opened up. Something was peeking out from its lid, a keen button eye set on trying to find an escape, as the box slowly closed itself back. Shady tried to catch Solomon's attention, but the Biblical Sorcerer merely raised up his hand. "Not yet." He'd state.

Furthermore, someone else was watching at a distance. Someone wallowing within the dark, before slipping away, making their own path to the shop up ahead.
