Chapter 488 - Chapter 488: Legendary Fury, Part 3

Harvard and Zazel watched on as the army began to rise again, a quick spell casted in order to give the two a chance to breathe, opening the ground as if it were a door, letting the winds around the Demon split and surround, pushing the toys inside the door so they can close it and bury them alive. The amount of dirt and candy crushing into them would be enough to act as a personal prison, as they'd try to close in. Faya, meanwhile would try to send out the two Descendants, letting them regain their proper forms, joining in on jumping the newly fused body. "No matter... you do not need to answer." Brunono mumbled, as his armor opened up again.

With the surge of energy coursing across his body, Leon would be forced to spend it all in one place, a note that Zazel would take interest once he'd see such 'toys', two familiar figures being created before the group; One with a cape and white hair, another spiky with inscriptions across his body. Jackal Straum and Arthur Felks, now weaponized to be both an action figure and a mass of white clay, forming around to act as his Ophanim state. "Toy Magic can take on any variation with what can be constructed. So long as it can be seen as 'an object'... it counts."

"I was going to be surprised, but considering the mass debt you planted on them, you could care less if they were human or not, huh? That's what gave you the loophole in the first place. You only see them as money makers, right?" Zazel barked, already creating a sigil, lining it up with a few stars and Yata's magic to create the barrier, a sawblade of air to protect the markings.

"Correct."

The two immediately retaliated, as two more would be made for Leon's stead to handle the Descendants and Faya: A Woman out of colorful, small blocks, all built on a bulkier body, with googly eyes on her head, as well as a living plastic sword, an energy spiking through the blade, casting another new style to adapt into, taking in the candy area and turning said energy into chocolate sap. "As for you three... Leave." He'd command, as he'd let the Woman charge ahead, scattering herself and controlling each block to barrage and cave in the house, while the sword slashed ahead and catch Envy across his stomach, Chocolate embedded in his abdomen, spreading up and sapping away his energy.

Jackal and Arthur would make use of each other's magic, pinning the two children down and letting his hands try to connect into the ground, aiming to swarm them in salt.

SHIKK!!!

Severed in two, the air blade swooping in to cleave Arthur's clay arms, the sigil quickly casted to Uval, eroding the bodies through the wounds. Arthur would simply cut off his shoulder to prevent the arm from spreading its curse further, but because of the gravity shift, it would only spread it across the ground, aiming to reach out for Jackal as well. He'd be forced to drop the spell for a moment in order to back away, just in time for Harvard to cast Lemegeton and shoot the sigil, pushing it into the Bounty Hunter, buying them more time as he'd get more focus. As Leon tried to shift his gaze to help the two creations, The Nuckelavee would lunge ahead and intervene, popping out through the earth and biting into his leg, whilst the Fusion would aim to slash across Leon's body, trying to break apart the armor through the venom, slowly beginning to evolve it, slowly trying to copy the style that allowed Adel to evolve his own. Leon saw such a chance and denied it, strings made to the chest, digging deep into their heart, shielding it from connecting itself, before splitting such strings and letting them sink into their flesh. Even with this new boon, he was still having issues. Two more soldiers would be made for Brunono, familiar ones that immediately took action, the cheerful laughter of one and the sound of steel crossing against wood from another being enough of a signal.

Juna and Koske were 'back', nothing more than hollow shells in comparison to what they were originally.

Juna would cackle as her cuckoo-like head stretched out, biting into and pushing away the Fusion back, pinning them into what were now sugar canes for tree trunks, whilst Koske slashed across the ground, First Dance casted to freeze the Nuckelavee over. No pressure was found within the ice, however, as his will was long gone. His desire into dust. The Nuckelavee breaks free and tries to weaponize the ice, but it would only go so far as Second Dance was made, pulling the beast back, gripping ahold of him with such hands and restraining him from his movements. Even with such mass of energy spent, Leon's body was beginning to struggle. The Card Magician's words were ringing more and more true by the second. He needs to keep pushing, to keep unleashing attack after attack to finish the fight earlier.

He'd watch on as the toys he made were being taken care off, with Envy's body thrown towards them and snagging both, acting as a living trap to bind the two, whilst Tsukiya prepared Shikigami to summon forth some Kasa-Obake, pummeling away with such winds against the two, slashing apart at the chocolate. Faya would try to cover fire against the two soldiers made for the beasts, the Fusion taking the shape of Juna in order to adapt around and utilize her own magic against her, seeing as it was built into her own body. Harvard and Zazel would each take turns with their own spells: Fire, lightning, ice, light, darkness. Whatever was in their arsenal, they'd throw it at the two and overwhelm them, taking advantage of the candy environment and using such free energy to spam out whatever spell is possible to damage them.

"This is being a mess the longer it remains... I believe I'm understanding where this hatred comes from." Leon muttered, looking down on himself, his hands shaking from the battle. "...This is the first time I properly reacted. The first I actually act out. I buried this side of myself for so long. How did they draw it out so much...?" He can't help but look back on his own life, his own eyes, from the day he built his shop, to the day he met the Beldam. "I may not be carrying out my will at this rate. Tragic... all my efforts... reduced to nothing."
