"Aahh..."
A lazy yawn sounded as Lucas slowly opened his eyes. He felt a dampness on his neck and looked down to see a pair of cat ears. The cat-eared girl was sleeping with her head on his shoulder, her breath warming his neck.
The cat-eared girl had slept here last night, and the two of them had fucked several times, leaving her completely exhausted. Otherwise, Mina would have been awake long before him. This time, she would probably sleep until noon.
However, the corner of Lucas's mouth twitched. He turned his head to the left and saw a pair of green eyes staring at him. After they had finished last night, Amelia had pushed the door open, climbed onto his bed with a blank expression, and casually hugged his arm to sleep.
"Why don't you sleep a little longer?" Lucas felt helpless and could only be the first to speak, asking in a low voice, "There's no school today, you can sleep in."
"Hot," Amelia said coolly.
"Wait, don't lift it yet," Lucas quickly stopped her. He and the cat-eared girl were naked. He reached out to grab his briefs from the headboard.
"Let's get up. Today is a good day," Lucas said gently. He wanted to celebrate a New Year in this other world, specifically the Spring Festival, because back on Earth, today was the last day of the old year.
"Oh." A trace of shyness flashed in Amelia's green eyes as she got off Lucas and climbed out of bed to get dressed.
"Master." Mina's eyes were half-closed as she let out a lazy, nasal sound. She felt weak all over, as if her bones had been removed.
"You sleep a little longer," Lucas said softly. His body was getting better and better, and he had become stronger in that aspect. Coupled with being busy lately, it had been a while since he had done anything. Last night was a bit excessive for Mina.
"Mmm~" Mina let out another lazy, nasal sound. She wanted to get up but had no strength, so she closed her eyes and drifted back to sleep.
"Was it too long? Is that a little bad?" Lucas muttered to himself, but a mischievous smile played on his lips. He was clearly very satisfied.
Creak!
The door was pushed open and Nicole walked in. Her delicate nose twitched, and a blush rose on her cheeks.
"Master, you're awake?" Nicole said softly, glancing with a red face at the sleeping cat-eared girl, wondering if last night's battle had been very intense.
"Mmm!"
Lucas got out of bed gently. Nicole immediately began to serve him. After a few minutes of washing up, the three of them quietly stepped out of the room. "Master, breakfast is ready," Nicole said softly. She had heard the Master say last night that he had an announcement to make today.
"Let's go, everyone must be getting impatient," Lucas said with a light laugh. He looked out the corridor window. The weather was getting warmer and warmer; the days of spring had arrived.
"Today's breakfast is so lavish! Is there some happy occasion today?" Annie's crisp and surprised voice came from the dining room.
"There are meat, rice rolls, pastries..." Ayesha's muffled voice sounded, as if her mouth was full of saliva.
The next second, Annie's shouting rang out, "Ayesha, don't get so close, your drool is about to drip into the food!"
"Another day full of vitality," Lucas said gently as he stepped into the dining room, seeing the beast-eared girls and elves all looking at him.
"Morning, Master (Lord)." Everyone greeted him.
"Morning," Lucas replied with a light laugh and walked to sit at the head of the table. Scanning from the left, there was Annie, Freya, Amelia, Helen, Hazel, Elisa, Ayesha, Camilla, Nicole, and an empty seat for the absent Mina.
Without realizing it, his castle already had so many people. They had stayed for various reasons. Many of the beast-eared girls had unfortunate backgrounds; the one who had it best was probably Nicole, who had been carefree from birth until now.
Everyone's relationship with him was different: some had good feelings, some were indifferent, some worshiped him...
Everyone looked at Lucas quietly. They all knew he had something to say, so they didn't interrupt him.
"Today is the last day before spring. Tomorrow, spring arrives," Lucas said slowly with a smile on his lips. "Spring is the best season of the year. It's the season that comes after the harsh winter, allowing all things to be reborn."
"Master, since spring is here, just give us your orders," Annie said in her clear voice. The arrival of spring was the most important time of the year, and also the start of the busiest period.
"No rush." Lucas chuckled, folded his hands, and leaned forward. "Today, in my hometown, is the last day of the old year. It's a rather important day."
"An important day?" Everyone present was stunned. They had passed every year just like this. There was nothing important about it.
"There are a few things to do today. Everyone, eat breakfast first, and I'll tell you what they are later," Lucas said with a wave of his hand. He didn't explain too much. He would explain as he did things. He was determined to create a Spring Festival atmosphere.
After all, this place was already his home. A home without a New Year just felt like something was missing. Since there wasn't one, he would create one. Festivals, well, you celebrate them and they become traditions.
"Yes," The girls replied.
Even though they were very curious, they restrained themselves from asking. They were all full of anticipation for what different things might happen this time. After all, everything Lucas came up with always felt incredible and magical to them.
"Awoo..." The panda, Caesar, hugged his bamboo and let out a cry from the corner.
