"Master, I will go make the arrangements."
Hearing the conversation, Tony immediately turned around to instruct the logistics team to prepare the hot air balloon, and also had the air force soldiers go ahead to clear the way and scout the crater for any dangers.
"Annie, come here," Lucas beckoned to the fox-eared girl, preparing to fasten the harness.
"Okay." Annie's cheeks flushed as she walked towards Lucas, her face showing a slight hesitation.
"What's wrong?" Lucas raised an eyebrow, looking at the fox-eared girl's reddened face, her fox ears drooping listlessly.
"Master, I... I..." Annie opened her small, crimson mouth, stammering as she lowered her head.
"Are you a little scared?" Lucas looked at the fox-eared girl's slightly trembling body and said gently, "You can be on top, and I'll carry you on my back. That way you won't be scared."
"I... I want to be in the front. I want the Master... to hold me," Annie bit her lower lip, taking tiny steps until she was in front of Lucas.
She was a little scared. This was different from riding a hot air balloon; the hang glider had no basket. You were completely suspended, facing the earth. She was afraid she would get so scared she'd do something embarrassing, like... accidentally pee...

"Uh..." Elisa's emerald-green eyes widened slightly, her eyelids twitching. What was written was actually a strategy guide. The very first entry read: Father sleeps at midnight at the latest. Can pretend to go to the toilet and 'accidentally' meet him halfway.
Don't you have a toilet in your room? And you're going to 'accidentally' meet him halfway? That's way too obvious.
What was all this? Elisa rolled her eyes. The girl was trying to conquer Lord Lucas, but wasn't her guide a bit too simplistic?
Snap. Amelia abruptly closed the notebook. The shadow cast on the ground let her know someone was peeking. She turned and stared intently at Elisa, her green eyes shining, as if to say, don't even think about stealing my techniques.
"Ahem..." Elisa turned her head away in embarrassment, her foot tapping lightly. Being caught red-handed made her feel a little awkward.
"Want to see?" Amelia held out her hand and said coolly, "One gold coin per page."
"Pfft..." Elisa choked, looking at the girl's serious expression in disbelief. Her mouth twitched fiercely as she said huffily, "No, I don't want to see."
One gold coin per page, that was faster than robbery. Elisa hadn't expected the aloof girl to have such a side to her. Maybe if it were ten copper coins a page, it would be more reasonable.
"Oh." A flash of mischievousness crossed Amelia's green eyes. She silently tucked the notebook back into her clothes. Show it to people? That was impossible.
"Everyone, the hot air balloon is ready," Tony shouted from a distance.
"Mina, all of you put on parachutes," Lucas instructed. With parachutes, they wouldn't have to fear any accidents.
"Yes," Mina said seriously, leading Elisa and Amelia towards the hot air balloon.
"Then it's our turn," Lucas looked at the fox-eared girl in his arms, reached out to buckle the harness around her waist, pressing her body tightly against his.
"Mmm~~" Annie let out a soft moan, her hands tightly clutching Lucas's clothes.
"Let's go," Lucas's hands supported the fox-eared girl's pert bottom.
"Ah!" Annie's bottom was ambushed. Her cheeks instantly turned crimson, and she buried her face directly in Lucas's chest, her brown eyes filled with a watery mist.
"Ahem..." Lucas coughed lightly. He could feel the fox-eared girl's heavy breathing against his chest. He quickly strode towards the hang glider. He couldn't misbehave anymore, or he'd be the one suffering.
Soon, Lucas arrived at the flight platform again. With the help of the logistics soldiers, he once again fastened the harnesses and waited quietly for Mina's hot air balloon to ascend.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh…
Mina was rapidly pumping the bellows to increase the fire. The hot air inflated the balloon, and after a short while, the hot air balloon slowly began to rise.
"Elisa, turn the wind wheel!" Mina saw the balloon was in the air and quickly instructed, "Turn the one on the east side."
The wind wheel was a large, hand-cranked wooden fan. It was used to increase thrust and correct the course, one of the newest items produced by the research department.

Seeing that the hot air balloon was airborne, Lucas began to run. Five seconds later, he took off smoothly once again.

The moment they dropped off the cliff, the feeling of weightlessness made Annie let out a scream. She hugged Lucas's back tightly, her entire body pressed against him, her legs even wrapping around his waist like a koala.
"Alright, it's okay now. You can look at the scenery," Lucas comforted her, controlling the hang glider to follow the air force soldier leading the way.
"Hah... hah..." Annie took deep breaths. It was a good while before she dared to turn her head and look down.
The first glance from the high altitude mesmerized Annie. Her brown eyes shone with surprised delight. She stared captivated at the landscape below, murmuring to herself, "So beautiful."
"Look all you want. I'm here," Lucas supported the fox-eared girl's bottom with one hand, while his other hand controlled the hang glider, following the team in front.
"Mm-hmm," Annie nodded, her face red. She squeezed the Master's waist tightly with her legs, afraid of falling.
"Master~" Annie called out in a sweet voice. Her hands slowly moved from Lucas's back to his neck, wrapping around it. Her watery eyes looked up at the Master's chin.
"Hm?" Lucas lowered his head in confusion. He saw Annie's shy face and was slightly taken aback. Then, the corners of his lips curved up, and he leaned in to capture the fox-eared girl's mouth...
