One day, he finally managed to invite Bella to have dinner with him.

During the meal, he couldn't help but ask, "Do you plan to stay single for the rest of your life because of Edward Anderson?"

She was so young and beautiful, and life was so wonderful. Why couldn't she let go and squander her time for a man who was already in the grave?

He thought Bella's answer would be affirmative, but to his surprise, she shook her head: "No."
