In the end, Edward Anderson didn't pry any further. He knew that Bella Scott was a woman who understood boundaries and would not mess around with Grant Ray. The person he didn't trust was Grant.

Lately, Bella's attitude had been somewhat strange, and he didn't want to be disliked by her anymore.

"You've lost weight recently. Have you been eating on time?" He tried to start a conversation.

"I wouldn't mistreat myself." Bella said, looking out the window.

The rain kept drizzling, as if covering the entire city with a layer of white fog, making it hard to see the scenery here, and of course, the people as well.

Suddenly, she missed the days in Philadelphia.

Her most beautiful and destitute moments were in that city. No matter how good West Grove was, she felt that it wasn't her homeland.
