Tonight, Bella Scott was driven crazy by Edward Anderson and didn't want to be tortured again.
As expected, Linda Stuart was sitting in the living room. When she saw Bella return, she called her over.
Bella calmed herself down and sat next to Linda, pretending to be well-behaved: "Mom, why are you still up so late?"
"You know it's late, don't you? Come home earlier in the future, I won't be at ease." Linda looked Bella up and down, scanning her like radar.
Bella kept a smile on her face, but she was still a little nervous. She hoped that Linda wouldn't notice anything.
"Got it. I'll go upstairs to check on the twins first. You should rest early, mom." She said, calmly.
"No rush. What was the name of the friend you met tonight?" Linda grabbed Bella's hand.
Bella maintained her smile while feeling secretly alarmed. As expected, Miss Stuart didn't believe her at all.
Luckily, she still remembered the name of that person and could repeat it without any problems.
