Kallie impatiently cut off Grant Ray's words.
Grant Ray stared deeply at her: "Are you sure your body is alright?"
Kallie nodded vigorously: "I'm positive that my body is fine!"
Seeing her insistence, Grant Ray relented: "Fine. We'll hold the press conference this weekend. I do owe an explanation to you and our son."
Kallie was overjoyed and hugged Grant Ray: "Thank you for accepting our son."
Grant patted her back: "Focus on restoring your health first. I have things to do and need to leave."
Kallie felt a bit sullen: "Aren't you staying?"
After all the hardships she went through to give birth, could Grant Ray still be so indifferent to her?
"I've been too busy lately to spend time with you. We'll talk about other matters after things settle down." Grant Ray finished speaking and left the villa with the doctor.
Although Kallie was upset, she could only tell herself not to get angry.
