Lucas Hutt was taken aback, suddenly realizing that Flynn Taylor's words made some sense.
The doctor had also said that if his mother received external stimuli, she might have a chance to wake up.
Of course, this was like a miracle happening, with only the slimmest of chances.
"We have to try everything, right?" Flynn seized the opportunity to persuade Lucas.
Lucas nodded in the end.
"How did you know that my mom is in this hospital?" Lucas asked suspiciously.
Very few people knew that his mother was here; how did Flynn find out?
"I was really worried about you and your mom's condition, so it took a lot of effort and owing many favors to find out. I'm sorry, I was truly out of options, so I resorted to this." Flynn grabbed Lucas's wrist, "Could you forgive me this time, please?"
Lucas pulled his hand back, not wanting to get too close to Flynn in the hospital room.
He wasn't sure if letting Flynn stay was a good decision, but he couldn't think of a better solution right now.
