That evening, Bella Scott received a call from Snow Collins.
Snow wanted to invite her to a dinner party on the weekend, saying it was a crucial event and he needed her help.
Edward Anderson was right beside her, glaring at her, so Bella dared not accept: "I happen to be busy that day, I can't attend."
The next moment, Edward snatched the phone and shouted at Snow on the other end, "Bella will be attending a dinner party with me that day! She doesn't have time."
He hung up without giving Snow a chance to speak.
Trying to steal her away right under his nose, Snow was indeed shameless. Edward had to keep a close eye on him.
"I don't need to attend a dinner party that day." Bella glared at him.
"That was just to get him away, right? Bella, are you genuinely naive, or pretending to be? Haven't you noticed Snow's ulterior motives for you?" Edward then ordered, "You go and make it clear to him!"
