Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: King of Abstraction · Newbie Village Villager Theo

Two kilometers east of Yili Village, there is a small grassland. After Shami and Theo herded the dozen or so sheep from the village there, they sat on the upper part of the grassland, watching the sheep graze.

"Shami, the Demon King has descended again."

Suddenly, Theo started talking about this topic out of the blue. He had a stalk of grass in his mouth, and his eyes wandered as he looked ahead.

"And then?"

Shami was sitting next to him, about half a meter apart, still thinking about how to resurrect the Slime, when Theo's words pulled him back to reality.

This guy rarely talks about serious topics.

"At least some heroes and adventurer parties will come to our village again." Theo spat out the grass in his mouth and looked seriously at Shami: "We can see those female adventurers with large chests, long legs, and very little clothing again. I haven't seen them for so long, almost forgot what they look like when pleasuring myself."

"..."

Shami casually touched Theo.

[Name: Theo Kiel]

[Race: Human]

[Status: In Heat]

[Occupation: Villager]

[Level: 4]

Turns out he's in heat.

Shami was suddenly enlightened and withdrew his hand, brushing it with the grass beside him.

He's already accustomed to Theo's behavior.

Theo Kiel, the only male villager in Yili Village who can be in heat for three hundred and fifty days out of three hundred and sixty-five, is quite an achievement in a way.

No wonder, with Theo's features abstract like a Picasso painting, he's basically severed from women for life. The women in the village turn their heads and walk away when they see him.

Shami also feels a bit sorry for Theo, so he usually listens to his complaints about women and dampens his fervor before he loses control.

"I miss them, I really want to see those adventurer women again soon." Theo suddenly sighed, "Then I can secretly watch them while rewarding myself."

"..."

It seems the situation is still within a controllable range.

"By the way, Shami, what's it like to spend the night with a woman?"

Suddenly, Theo looked at Shami with interest.

"How would I know? I've never tried."

Shami didn't want to discuss such a topic.

"Right. I'll secretly tell you, I read in a book that the reason sheep are called demons by Westerners is because ******. Early this morning, I went to the sheepfold, *****."

Theo described vividly, making strange shapes in the air with his hands, while a part of his speech was beeped out.

Shami showed an unprecedentedly shocked expression.

"Wait, wait, at least as humans, we shouldn't do such things, right."

"No, no. I just tried with my hand, didn't do that kind of thing." Theo hastily explained, "No wonder the Demon King Heir is also a lover of exotic girls. Ugh! Pervert! Disgusting!"

Do not insult me, you bastard! These are completely different things! Exotic girls are exotic girls, sheep are sheep, these are completely different!

Also, what right do you have to say such things!

Shami's worldview was shaken.

"Theo, I think you should consider the widow at the village entrance."

"Huh? That smelly fat pig? Aside from her butt looking a bit like a sheep's, what else is there worth my pursuit."

"Just based on that... and, she's a person? And single?"

"I..."

Theo chuckled coldly, about to argue back, when suddenly he sat back on the grass, lost in thought.

Don't show a genuinely serious thinking face!

Theo actually started seriously contemplating.

Shami felt extremely scared. Even though Theo is usually a bit disgusting, he doesn't deserve to be sat on to death by a widow.

He pondered for a bit and could only subtly mention the cucumber incident.

"Theo… have you ever heard of another meaning of cucumbers..."

"What! That damn fat pig! How dare she do such a thing! I'm gonna kill her!" Theo got furious, covering his mouth with both hands, "No... no way, Shami, I feel like vomiting..."

"Don't vomit on me!"

At noon, after the villagers changing shifts arrived, Shami and Theo returned to the village.

Theo was flushed and still wanted Shami to grab a cucumber and confront the widow with him, but Shami decisively refused.

...

After Shami became a max-level farmer, he worked far more efficiently than others.

A field that takes a morning to farm, he could finish in an hour.

After completing the farming, he sat on the field ridge, contemplating how to reasonably leave the village to obtain what he wanted.

According to the Demons Atlas, resurrecting a Slime required three things.

One was natural tree gum, another was the Water of Life, and the third was his magic power.

He could easily get natural tree gum, as there were many trees producing it near the village.

As for the other thing, he didn't know what it was.

By the way, what is the Water of Life!

Don't make the first ordinary monster resurrection have such hard-to-collect materials!

"Shami, you're so fast."

Also working in the field, Theo chatted with Shami, his progress in a field was less than thirty percent.

"Hmm." Shami casually replied to Theo.

"I've still got so much left undone, looks like I'll have to come back in the afternoon."

"Hmm."

"By the way. I'm going to the widow at the village entrance for lunch, do you want to come with me, Shami? I realized that indeed it's better with a person than a sheep. But it wears out the waist. And I can't let her sit on top, too heavy."

"Hmm."

"..."

"Hmm?"

Shami snapped back, startled.

"Wait, it's only been two days since your thing with sheep, and you already seem to have completed the storyline of the widow at the village entrance? Didn't you go confront her?"

Did he accidentally skip some important plot?

"What do you mean by completed the storyline? I don't understand what you're saying at all."

Theo shook his head in confusion, adding, "It's a long story. That afternoon I originally went to confront her. Didn't expect to meet her returning from herd grazing, just in time to run into her going to sweep her late husband's grave. She wanted me to lend a hand. I couldn't refuse, considering she's a lady, so I agreed. Planned to settle the matter after sweeping the grave."

Up to this point, the plot was still normal.

"But unexpectedly, that widow cried terribly in front of her husband's tomb. Saying she was lonely and empty, saying she wanted to end it all too. Grateful she met someone as gentle as me, gave her hope to continue living in the village." Theo sentimentally touched his nose, "Didn't realize this fat pig could also tell, knowing my gentle nature."

The focus should be on the widow's "lonely and empty" phrase! And saying such things in front of her deceased husband, is it really okay?

Shami's thoughts hit a mental block.

"Then the widow directly lay on me and cried. I secretly looked at her, found out that aside from being a bit fat, she actually looks nice, with a button nose, melon-seed face, and plump arms."

"..."

If Shami hadn't personally seen that three-hundred-pound widow who looked like a round plate and had arms thicker than his thighs, he might have almost believed Theo's words.

"You know, I haven't had anything for ages, and she's been widowed for a whole year. We couldn't hold back, and right there in front of the grave, we OO..."

Shami stood frozen in a monochrome scene: 6
