Coming out of Huo Qiong's Japanese restaurant, Jiang Yi didn't expect to run into someone familiar.
An Yeqiu was just pushing open the car door to get out, appearing at the entrance with her friend Zeng Rong.
An Yeqiu wore a thin, mid-length trench coat, her hair was styled and casually tied at the back, a single shoulder bag tucked under her arm, happily chatting with Zeng Rong.
She inadvertently looked up and her steps halted.
Her friend Zeng Rong noticed her stop and followed her gaze towards Jiang Yi.
Zeng Rong asked, "What's up with you, Ye Qiu?"
Only then did An Yeqiu come back to her senses, gave a stiff smile, and said, "It's nothing, just bumped into someone familiar."
Actually, Jiang Yi hadn't given much thought to the awkward misunderstanding a few days ago.
Though she sensed An Yeqiu was sensitive and not easy to get along with, she went forward to greet An Yeqiu.
