"Yo~ ho~ Yo~ ho~ On the Abyss we go~" The Ferryman sang while his spear steered the boat.

"Where the black tides churn and the dead winds blow~

"Pay the toll or lose your soul~

"The Ferryman takes all who seek his boat~"

During this silent journey, Alice found herself tapping her finger along with the song he was singing.

"The waters whisper of lives undone~

"Of broken vows and the setting sun~

"Yet onward he rows with a steady hand~

"From shadowed shores to the no-man's land~ Yo~ ho~ Yo~ ho~ On the Abyss we go~"

"Did you compose this song?" Alice asked curiously as the Ferryman didn't turn.

"Nay, a passing bard composed it for me. I took him on a journey, the only time I made an exception to make multiple stops along the ride. You see, he was a little lost in the maze called life." The Ferryman chuckled.
