Auralia awoke to a sharp pain stabbing into her abdomen. She let out a gasp as her eyes snapped open, clutching her stomach. There was something wet around her inner thighs.
Darkness surrounded her along with the gentle crashing sound of waves from the ocean outside the bedroom. Everything was peaceful except for her pain ridden body.
Damn it! Auralia cursed to herself as sat up in bed. Can't believe I've gotten my period now…
Every month she forgot about her period and every month she got a rude awakening about its existence. It was an endless cycle that reminded her she wasn't pregnant.
Not that she'd had any chance to get pregnant with her non-existant sex life.
Another stab of pain made her release a groan of pain, almost falling off the bed. Something shifted besides her, reminding her Alexander was sleeping next to her.
