"Young Master! Young Master!" Xu Si called out half heartedly, her eyes heavy as she nudged randomly at every suspicious corner or object she passed. She was obviously interested in the search, but lacked much motivation.
"Young Master Da Long! Young Master Da Long!" Xu San called, careful and meticulous in her early morning search as in everything she did.
The voices of Xu Si and Xu San were loud enough to be heard by the demon beasts and half breeds in Blooming Courtyard, but not loud enough to wake up the rest of the barely stirring Nanshan Estate.
The servants of the estate were by no means slacking in the least, it was just that the main courtyard and some additions from Budding Courtyard had risen much earlier than those who usually rose before the sun.
The majority of its servants lay fast asleep, their weary bodies finding peace in the arms of a restful slumber as they savored the crisp chill of the late night air.
