chapter 01 - Troubles Coming
"What is happening to me? Is there something wrong with my body?" A seventeen-year-old boy shrieked and stirred from his slumber in his bed. Exhausted from the arduous training he had undertaken the previous day, he was bewildered by the sensations coursing within him.
"Could it be because of my practice of Amitva?" He felt puzzled.

In the land of 'Alokdhama'—the abode of light—various martial art techniques thrived. This small island existed within 'Abhivyktadesh'—the land of unveiled mysteries. Although the land was engulfed in darkness and plagued by an eerie aura of evil, the transformation of the land of light into darkness remained a mystery to its inhabitants.
.........
Karna, a young orphan, had spent his entire life sheltered by benevolent monks who raised him as one of their own. His life was tranquil yet filled with unanswered questions. Little did he know that his existence held the key to unlocking ancient powers that lay dormant within him.
As he awoke, a strange sensation coursed through him—a mysterious power that eluded his comprehension. Despite his humble background, he was a smart, enthusiastic, and sagacious student who had absorbed the teachings of his great gurus in the monastery.
Karna's dwelling was a rustic cottage nestled deep within the heart of a mystical forest, a place that appeared to have been plucked from the ancient pages of our spiritual scriptures. It was not just any cottage; it was the cherished sanctuary of this 17-year-old boy. Here, he found solace in the tranquility of his chosen home, a place where the sun's warm rays trickled through a thatched roof, where the gentle fragrance of marigolds and incense danced on the breeze, and where each new day offered an opportunity for meditation and reflection. Lattice windows, barely larger than the palm of a hand, beckoned the forest's whispers and breezes to grace the interior. Beyond, a garden thrived with sacred herbs and medicinal plants, a testament to Karna's deep respect for life and his unwavering devotion to healing. In this undisturbed setting, Karna's journey unfolded—a journey of self-discovery, devotion, and a profound connection with the world around him.
The sensation flowed through him like a comforting yet potent surge of warmth, leaving him in awe but also utterly bewildered. Karna's initial intention was to test his proficiency in Amitva Stage One. The technique had many intricasies. He had learned from his master that anyone who can learn this technic has a bright future which might lead one to many fortunes. He knew he had to control the energy within him to practise the martial art 'Vayuparshukala' to master Amitva.
He sat down in Lotus position to start his meditation. He began to chant the mnemonics of the Amitva cultivation art and tried to control the energy flow. However, to his dismay, he realized he couldn't.
Restless and deeply troubled by his inability to grasp the mysterious energy coursing within, Karna couldn't shake the feeling that something fundamental was slipping away. He knew he had to seek his master's guidance urgently; this riddle threatened to shatter the very core of his being.
"I must speak to my master as soon as possible; otherwise, it might undermine my foundation." He thought.
He rushed to meet his master, the head priest of the monastery. The head priest was an old monk renowned for his martial arts prowess, and he was the most influential figure in Alokdhama. Karna's status was not that of an ordinary disciple; he was like a son to his master.
.…........…....
Entering the inner hall of the head priest's abode, Karna saw the old man reclining in his armchair. His eyes were closed, his legs rested on the chair's long arms, and a divine light seemed to emanate from him. He wore a white dhoti wrapped around his legs and waist. The white khadi uttariya draped across his torso bore an emblem representing the monastery he led. This emblem featured a tree symbol, resembling a coconut tree, positioned on the left side. The tree's branches arched gracefully, covering half of the emblem's expanse. On the opposite side of the emblem lay an axe, distinct from the ordinary wood-chopping tool; this was a sacred weapon associated with an avatar of Lord Mahavishnu, as per Indian mythology.
At the emblem's core, a peculiar land structure took form, characterized by a central chubbiness interspersed with occasional irregularities, while its rear portions tapered to a narrowness. The roots of the coconut tree appeared to cradle and protect this unique land formation, creating a harmonious and meaningful symbol. These intricate details embodied the essence of the monastery, encapsulating its deep-rooted spirituality and reverence for the legends of Indian mythology.
He approached the his revered master without making any sounds. He called ,"Master, Master."
The old man opened his eyes to look at his precious disciple. He narrowed his eyes as he realised something.
"Troubles coming", he muttered.

[Author's note😜🫣:Just to be crystal clear, all those martial arts and mystical symbols I conjured up? Yep, entirely from the wild realms of my imagination. If they happen to resemble anything from the real world, well, let's just call it a serendipitous blend of creativity and coincidence! 😄✨]
