Inside the master bedroom of the mansion, two figures could be seen on bed together.
The middle aged man had muscular and tall figure, his face had some sweat but he was overall handsome and looked exceptional.
The curvaceous woman beneath him panted and moaned continuously as her husband plowed her.

Carter's eyes shone with delight.

Butler left since, Carter had spoken.
" Husband~ " Sally glared at her husband.
" Yes dear? "
" You almost scared me to death, couldn't you wait till we were out of bed, " Sally spoke with resentment, but she was just shy.
Carter couldn't take it, and almost pounced on his wife again.
After all she was just that cute!
" Works comes first. My sweet wife should understand that, " Carter rubbed her head gently.
" I know... Hmm, " Sally sighed, before looking conflicted.
" You have something to say darling? " Carter asked as he got out of bed.
" Umm... I was just worried about sister-in-law's return... I have heard some things about her... Unpleasant things about, how ambitious she is. "
Carter looked at Sally, " You don't need to worry about that. Carol, my sister even though is certainly a capable woman, she has long lost her position in family. Her loyalists were rooted out by father as soon as she was married off. "
" Besides, she is not an idiot to stir trouble in current situation where survival isn't even guaranteed. Rather with how smart and capable she is, she will be a great help to me and family now. "
" Also, before anything she is my lovely younger sister. Even if she might not show it, she loves me. "
Hearing that Sally was relieved.
She didn't want to see family infighting.
As family's matriarch, her position in family was very revered, she had no intention to loose it.
So, planting some doubts and cautioning her husband was necessary for her own goodness.
" I was just saying. No need to be bothered with my words. I don't know much about this serious stuff anyway. "
Carter smiled giving his wife a kiss, " Yeah. Be good and I'll come see you again tonight. "
" Hmm... Bye husband take care, " Sally said before drifting back into covers lazily.
She had a good sleep to catch onto... Normally nowadays, she wasn't allowed to go outside or interact with many. So, mostly she spent her time sleeping or playing with her children.
" Yawn~ time to sleep~ " Saying so, she dived into soft bed with her sexy body.
Obviously, she loved this life which was million times better than those filthy commoners outside...
As soon as Carter left the master bedroom, he was greeted by previous Butler.
" Keep an eye on her. Don't let anyone approach the room, " Carter said with serious expression.
His gentle demeanor was only given to his wife and children, to outsiders he was stern Family Head.
" Yes Master Carter, " Butler nodded to his Master.
Carter was a careful man, to avoid being haunted by Players he had taken it upon himself to frequently check on his wife, while keeping her under complete house arrest.
He didn't want to be stabbed some day by his own wife.
Player's women couldn't be detected easily through just looking, but their aversion to men other than their Players was a common knowledge by now.
If Sally were to be infected by Player someday, she definitely wouldn't let him in her bed.
Carter soon left the mansion.
The subway under Sheraton family's control was at the Western side of the city wall.
It took some time to finally reach there.
Underground Subway gate was heavily guarded.
With heavy weapons and private army stationed there all the time.
There was even self destruction mechanism in subway, with explosives lined over to destroy the underground area at any time.
It's security was no less powerful than security at wall, and in some cases it was even better than outside.
This was exactly the reason why Governor had allowed top families to hold each subway station as their private anchor.
It was necessity born out of situation, because resources to feed millions were too scarce.
" Are they here? " Carter asked the person in managerial position, who came running to him.
" M-Master Carter the situation is bad... "
" What happened? " Carter couldn't help but frown.
But, just then his phone rang.
He wanted to hang up, but he saw the old Governor was personally calling him.
He frowned.
Raising his hand to manager, he took the call.
" Hello Mr Kennedy... "
[ HELLO MY ASS?! The western subway gate is BROKEN THROUGH with guards KILLED! Who the fuck are you bringing into my city!? ]
The raged voice of old Governor echoed into Carter's ears.
Carter was stunned.
" What exactly happened Mr Governor?! I already made an application regarding train..." He hurriedly asked.
[ You don't know!? The train you're bringing in was stopped for inspection. But instead of going through procedure, your people tried to bribe their way in. When guards didn't agree, everyone on Western Gate was killed!]
Carter was shocked.
" Governor Kennedy, there must be a misunderstanding. The owner of the train is my brother-in-law. I'll give you an explanation as soon as possible, " Carter spoke quickly.
[ You better do that or I'll send my people over ]
Carter snorted as call was cut off.
" This senile old bastard. He no longer has any power but still wants to boss up on me! "
Carter cursed.
But, situation of the train convoy was really suspicious.
He was getting regular telegrams from the train till last night but then they had suddenly stopped since then.
It raised concern within him.
Also, the gates to the subway could only be opened by specific passwords and complicated mechanism... How did they enter the underground subway, if they had a fight with guards?
So, he quickly called a certain person over immediately.
With her here, he didn't believe any problem could remain unsolved.
" Stay alert. As soon as train appears on station send someone to inquire the situation. Also keep your weapons ready! "
Carter gave out orders while, he himself went to monitor cameras.
He was accompanied by manager and staff there.
In few minutes, they heard the sound of train engine.
" They're here, " The staff person spoke.
In cameras, four lights flashed from the darkness.
As moments ticked by the metallic behemoth soon appeared in the vision.
Carter gasped in admiration.
' I'm the head of one of the top families here. But, still I don't have a vehicle like this! ' He thought.
Not considering anything else, just this train was a great addition to his arsenal!
Soon the train stopped on platform.
The lights automatically lit up.
" Send someone over! " Carter said.
A man holding the gun bravely marched forward towards the train engine.
He roughly knocked on the door with his rifle, loudly saying something.
Carter watched as the engine door opened.
A familiar broad shouldered man walked out first, followed by a beautiful lady.
They were Joshua and Carol.
Seeing his sister, Carter suddenly felt relieved.
Even though in past they had some grievances, Carol was still the little baby he had carried when he was young and watched her grow to the beautiful woman she was now.
Meanwhile, on the station Joshua took the lead in speaking with the soldier of Sheraton Family.
The soldier nodded after a minute and signalled okay to the camera.
He then even called.
[ Hello... Hello... Mr Joshua is with me ]
" Ask him why they created chaos on the check point, " Carter ordered.
His man asked exact same question.
[ He says, after opening the gates, the guards captain there made outrageous request. He apologized for the mess ]
Carter frowned.
In apocalypse people holding little power had already become corrupt.
He had heard a lot about guards of Melbourne as well.
Those bastards, they would ask for resources and women as bribes.
But, here they should have known that this convoy was related to him...
Making outrageous requests meant offending Sheraton Family. Were they really this brave?
Just as Carter was thinking, a young looking girl entered the room.
Carter easily felt her presence, when she made a coughing gesture.
" Cough! "
" Grandma! You're here. Sorry for troubling you again, " Carter respectfully said to the woman who approached him and hugged him tightly forcing his head into her bosom.
" You sure remembered this old woman again. What's the issue now? " She laughed while ruffling Carter's hair like a child.
She was Misty Sheraton, a woman two generation higher than Carter, but currently she looked like a beautiful girl in her teenage years.

Carter knew that if not stopped this old grandma would go on forever, so he quickly spoke, " Carol is here. So, I was thinking you will want to see her as well. "
Hearing so, Miisty went silent for few seconds.
Her demeanor suddenly turned serious to the point that everyone in the room felt suffocated.
"... Carter, do you think there is some problem with Carol? That's why you called me? "
Misty was wise of her age, she easily deciphered Carter's caution. Otherwise, he wouldn't have mobilized one of the only two Stage 3 powerhouse like herself, who was always busy.
" I don't know. But, with you present I'll have the peace of mind for myself, " Carter replied with a sigh.
Misty nodded understanding whole situation, " Okay... But, let's try not to harm little Carol. That child has suffered a lot. "
When a human came from outside the wall, the dangers they carried were either an infection or a Player!
" Yes of course grandma, " Carter replied promptly like obedient junior.
Now he who was hesitant to go down till now, quickly took the lead in going to the station.
Misty also followed a step behind him.

Also, from camera it wasn't clear but now he could openly admire how beautiful his sister was.
She was wearing a long trench coat, beneath which her bare lower legs could be seen and underneath, her high heel covered feet could be admired freely.

She leaped forward to embrace her grandma.
Misty as well was emotional as she couldn't help but reciprocate.
The two women almost bounced off each other, but their bond was clearly strong.
Misty really liked this granddaughter of hers too much.
" I'm really fine now... You, why are you crying silly baby? " Misty spoke with habit, she even used Carol's old nickname.
" Nothing... I was just a bit emotional. But, now it's fine. Since you're here and you're also so pretty! " Carol wiped her eyes.
" Hehe. This is how I looked when I was young and your grandfather fell for me just like that..." Misty smiled.

Carter who was awkwardly standing on side couldn't help but feel lonely.
So he made an eye contact with Joshua, who gave him a despair stricken look that spelled misery and grief.
Carter was stunned.
With how cordial atmosphere had become he had forgotten his original worries.
So, he spoke, " Grandma... "
Misty ignored him. She was too busy laughing with her lovely granddaughter.
Only when Carter spoke again did she register him.
" What is it? " She asked.
" ... About that... "
Misty had also fallen into the atmosphere, but on being reminded she went silent.
With complicated expression she couldn't help but look at Carol in her arms.
" Carol... "
" Yes Grandma? "
" Are you okay? "
