The sun is setting, Police cars are all over the sports complex with over 30 ambulances. Police officers are asking around and doing their investigation. Compounders were putting the teenagers on the stretcher and taking them to the hospital.
A worried looking woman is running in the corridor of the hospital and went inside a private medical room in which doctor was aiding the injuries of two young man. She ran inside and hold one youngster hand and said," I told you if you ever get in the fight get the other side inside the hospital. Didn't I?"
"Yes, mom you did."
Pulling the guy's ear the woman said,"Than what are you doing here. You just got injured a little, do you have to make me come all the way to the hospital."
" aaaaaughh mom it's not my fault the the police came earlier than expected and didn't let us finish off the remaining guys and we can't leave the hospital without a guardian or parent." I pulled my ear away from mom," sigh, I guess nothing can be done now let me fill the paperwork we will leave then." saying that mom went out of the room.
"Dude, thanks for calling your mom. My mom would have done way worse to me than just pulling my ear." Santosh said while patting my back. "It hurts, don't pat my back with such force." Silence fell in the room for the while and we laid back on our bed, which is next to each other, facing the roof I raised my hand.
"We lost huh."
--------------------------FLASHBACK OVER---------------------------
Remembering those moments boiled our blood and the excitement for a battle rose again, The fear that we felt towards the terrifying creatures like Dinosaurs can't be compared to this excitement. We are not required to fight, We wanted to fight those dinosaurs now.
"This time we can't just get a hospital service so don't try to fight anything that you can't and leave it to me, Ok 38?" I said with a smug look on my face. I am prepared as I studied about Dinosaurs all night yesterday and memorised their major information like name, diet, characterstics and size.
"I like to draw out my fight and why are you bringing back the number of guys we beat back then? You only beat 45 yourself, I could have done that if I wasn't enjoying." Santosh will not back off and become a loser. So, I challenged him.
" Ok let's not talk about the past numbers. Although this time I am going to get a bigger number than you as well."
" Like hell you will, Bring it one." Santosh said as he rolled his slleves.
We dont know how many or what type of Dinosaurs are there but we will fight every last one of them. Let's kill them all *slap* *slap* as we are stepping inside the sports complex somebody slapped our heads. I turned around and was quite impressed.
Bhawna was standing there with a bunch of small and intresting looking pistols in her pockets. "Idiots, you are going to get killed if you go in a big and wide area like that. Compact areas of city blocks the large Dinosaurs so, we only encounter them rarely but in a big and wide place like this, many large ones can be in there." She handed each of us 2 red color guns," Take these, they are flare so, Dinosaurs won't come near when you use them. There are not many so be careful." She sat in a sports car and looked at me," I am gonna head home so be back before dinner time, see you later." She winked at me and drove away.
Many questions rose in my mind. First, how did she found us, second where can I find a sports car like that. even though I don't know how to drive but I want one.
Santosh looked towards me," Seems like someone got a girlfriend? Hah I hope mine is still alive. I went to her first after arriving in the city but she wasn't around anywhere."
"The one with a girlfriend here is only you. I didn't asked her out yet and hopefully she would ask me before I can." I denied his statement and looked forward.
"So, duo or solo??" I asked. "What do you prefer?"
"We are going in solo ofcourse, You are not getting any kills this time." Santosh looked at me and ran forward leaving me behind.
After 10 minutes
I am inside the basketball court and I am facing 3 medium sized Deinonychus also know as terrible claws , it is 3 meters in height and weight about 100 kgs. This dinosaur has a large, sickle-shaped talon on the second toe of each foot. When not in use the claw is held off the ground to keep it sharp. They hunt in group with hit and run tactic.
One of them charged at me and swiped its talons. I ducked and kicked it's leg trying to throw it off balance . I did that in the flashback fight as well and it is a really useful move in a fight but this is a dinosaur not a human. It didn't even flinch as its tail kept it's balance.
I regained my stance as it ran back into its formation. Another came running from behind but this time instead of kicking it off balance. I took out a knife, ducked downwards and stabbed its chest, hoping it to pierce its heart.
Although it didn't pierce its heart but it did in its lungs. Using hit and run it ran back in formation. that Deinonychus wasn't able to hold on and passed out on the ground due to not able to breathe and blood loss leading to death.
I repeated the actions and took down the other two as well. As I was collecting my weapons from their body, The smell of blood was diffusing in the area.
Dinosaur feets started walking towards the basketball court slowly following the smell of blood. and entered the court.
