"Fight?" Atticus feigned surprise. "Fight who? Did anyone do anything to you? Just tell me the name…"
"No, no, baby. No one touched me." Anastasia grabbed his arms and looked into his eyes.
"I'm tired of sitting on the sidelines and hoping that you, your father, and grandpa will be alright. I'm tired of being the one left out. Let me join in."
Atticus' eyes darkened. "But Mom, your talent…"
"You're a god. I'm sure there's something you can do about that."
Anastasia was still at Master+ rank. When the mana density increased, she hadn't been affected much. Her talent was never meant to go beyond that level. But as a god… Atticus could most likely change that.
The only question was, should he?
He looked at his mother. Doing this would put her in harm's way. Avalon and Magnus could at least handle themselves. But Anastasia… she was different.
Atticus sighed. 'I don't have a choice.'
