Atticus pondered a moment. "Just two. Why was I being stared at by everyone as we walked and how can I understand your words?"
Atticus had gone far too long not to notice the stares. The whispers. While he and Masner were probably the smallest group he'd seen today, that shouldn't have been enough to get so much attention.
