As the roars and screams of the gods died down, Atticus flicked the blood off his blade and calmly glanced around.
'It's quiet.'
Headless and split corpses littered the ruined streets, yet Atticus wasn't nearly disturbed by the scene.
He'd found out that the vastness of his will increased as his power increased. What was once a hundred meters had climbed to four hundred. But it wasn't nearly enough to cover the entire city. It was hard to tell if there were still survivors and how many.
'I didn't see the major faction gods.'
Though the gods had been numerous and the battle fast, Atticus was sure he hadn't killed the three major faction gods he saw earlier.
'Where are they?'
He shot into the sky and swept his eyes around. Dust covered most parts of the city, but Atticus' eyes pierced right through them.
'There. Enhance.'
He blurred forward in a streak of light and appeared high on top of a skyscraper.
There, three figures silently stood, staring at him with cold eyes.
