Chapter 42 - Little Prince Arthur

Ariel stepped out of the bathroom, her eyes scanning the room. There, she found Lorelei seated at the small table, devouring her meal with gusto. Giving her a questioning look, Ariel couldn't help but ask, "You still have the luxury to eat in this situation?" Lorelei's laughter filled the air, a hint of embarrassment in her tone. "My queen, as much as I yearn to escape, I simply cannot do so on an empty stomach," she replied, a mischievous twinkle in her eyes.

Ariel couldn't help but roll her eyes playfully before her gaze shifted to the black bed in the room.

"My queen, I can never lay upon that black bed. I would rather rest upon the cold floor,"

Ariel chuckled, her curiosity piqued. "Why?" she inquired, observing Lorelei's food-filled face.

Ariel understood that Lorelei, being an elf and not a vampire, needed sustenance. "The bed sends shivers down my spine, my queen. Who would willingly surrender themselves to slumber on such a sinister black bed?"
