Ashton Heath's lips curved into a smile as he leaned in and whispered a few words into her ear.
Joanna Lawrence's eyes widened instantly, looking up at him with surprise.
"You're not joking with me, are you?"
Ashton Heath's dark, deep eyes gazed at her: "I'm not joking. Baby, I'm serious. This is the most effective solution I can think of."
"Of course, this is a last-resort solution. If it's not absolutely necessary, there's no need to do so."
"I think the process doesn't really matter, as long as the outcome is good."
"By telling me all this and asking for my help, isn't it because you want them to ultimately be together?"
"Absolutely, but..."
"So," Ashton Heath gently caressed her fair cheek, his slender, jade-like fingers lightly scratching her delicate skin, "I think it's feasible. Think about Brandon and Aria Rowlett; they basically went through something similar."
