Jason's POV
As both the beauties approached where I was seated, I mustered all the courage I had to greet them & ask a frivolous question, worse they could do is ignore me & it won't be big deal, at least for them, for me it will little bit crush my little bit of ego. So I asked with my sweetest voice and with my most charming smile I could muster:
"Hii Ladies, nice to see you, I have Contemporary English that's suppose to start right about this time but I think I'm in the wrong class, Are you here for same or different subject."
I gave the most innocent look I could muster. And it worked.
The blonde one smile and they changed their direction from where they were about to sit and climbed stairs towards me. All the while I kept my innocent look and little bit of smile.
She gave me a heart stopping smile and answered:
"You're cute, Yes we have the same subject and class is suppose to start in 15 minutes, most students are probably hung over from the last night's big bash at --"
Seeing the lost look on my face, she didn't continue and said:
"Anyhow, I'm Rose Kellar, nice to meet you."
"I'm Jason Nelford, nice to meet you too." - I replied excited and little bit shaky voice.
"And you're --" - I asked in a little demure voice to the smoking hot brunette.
"I'm Eliana Cole, and don't worry about other stuff, like she said you're cute."
She replied with genuine smile that made my heart stir.
I must have looked desperate, out of my depth, on the verge of nervous breakdown for them to complimenting me and trying to make me feel better but it was having an opposite reaction as I was not into getting compliments out of pity. But before I could say anything to assuage my wounded pride they sat on the seats in front of me and began taking care of their stuff.
I took a couple of breaths to calm myself down and asked them in a calm normal voice:
"So, where are you guys from?"
"I'm from San Francisco" replied Rose with little expression.
"And I'm from Sudbury, Ontario" replied Eliana
"Oh, How are you finding states?" I asked Eliana with interested expression.
"Yeah, It's definitely intense but that's the kind of charm of this place" she replied with a thoughtful expression.
"Chaos has its own charm, ain't that the truth" I replied with equally thoughtful expression.
"Hmm, Sudbury where do I know this place from, I've heard of it a couple of times" I asked with a confused expression. But just as she was about to reply, I said "Letterkenny" at the same time as she did, with an excited expression.
She gave me chuckle as she said "So you're a fan eh"
"That's a Texas sized 10-4, what about you."
"Yeah it's good but not using its slangs in everyday life good."
"It has another usage like if I said 'I'd be lucky if I was a great sniper & could snipe you both', You won't get my meaning if you didn't remember the slang but it would be great internal joke for me"
"I'd say you don't need luck, you can snipe if you want, both of us are single. By the way I got your reference." Rose replied with a mischievous smile.
And I got flustered and coughed a little to hide my embarrassment & seeing the look on my face they starting giggling cutely. Seeing them laugh like that I got a weird warm feeling inside and a sense of accomplishment.
"So, how do you guys know each other?" I asked to keep the conversation going.
"We are in the same dorm room." Rose replied with a smiling face.
Seeing her smiling face brought a soothing calm to my raging emotions & I said too much after getting a sense of familiarity with both:
"*Sigh* The pillow fights between you two must be a legendary sight to behold, Wish I could be there to watch it happen."
As a wise man once said Bullet and Words have one thing in common, once they leave the barrel there is no turning back, The only thing you can do is stand by your actions.
So that's what I did, I stood by my action and looked both Rose and Eliana in the eyes one by one with genuine smile and no hint of backing down. After 4 long seconds of silence, Rose replied with a teasing smile:
"Well, we didn't have any pillow fights but if we have one in the future I'd be sure to invite you"
"Will you guys also be wrestling in revealing nightwear" I asked mischievous smile.
I got the answer in the form of book slammed into my head with little force by Rose who had a weird look of annoyance and smile while Eliana laughed out loud.
"Ouch, I think I got a little concussion, you guys will have to carry me out of here." I said with a serious look trying to hold my amusement.
"Don't be a crybaby how can you expect to compete with strong handsome confident guys when you act like this?" Eliana teased.
"First of all Ouch, Second of all why do I have to compete with whoever you consider strong, handsome and confident?, I wield the strength to forge my own fate in the face of insurmountable odds, I'll be the most handsome man to the one who'll get to know me better and I'm confident enough to chat easily & make my intentions clear to the girls who are literally goddesses in human form in terms of beauty."
They both had a stunned expression on their face for a moment before Eliana said:
"Wow you know how to compliment a girl properly, Goddess in human form." Eliana said with a smile
"Who said I was talking about you guys?" But I teased
Rose Laughed at that while Eliana pouted and said:
"Whatever *Humph* girls like bad boys, and you definitely won't have a chance with us."
"Speak for yourself." Rose teased her and looked away & into my eyes while giving me her dazzling and alluring smile which made my heart stir and it started beating out loud.
"God You're Beautiful" I replied while looking into Rose's eyes. She shied away a bit with a blush on her face before looking into my eyes again. We held eye contact for a few seconds but were interrupted by Eliana who coughed out loud.
I looked at Eliana who uneasy and annoyed expression on her face, so I got little bit close to her and looked straight into her eyes and said:
"Eliana You're also just as beautiful as Rose" to which her reply was a genuine smile as looked into her eyes. And I continued:
"And I can be a very Bad boy with the right girl." to which her reply was a blushing face that she held on proudly while she looked into my eyes.
After my moment with Eliana I continued having idle chat with both of them and more students started coming in filling the lecture hall.
