"They never told me about it. The only thing they had told me was how rough it was for them when the outbreak happened."
After hearing Houqin's answer, Xiaoyun suddenly notices a weird look on her face. It confused him a little before he realized how rude he had been.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to force you to answer that kind of question... Let's go outside and meet up with parents again."

As the rest of the day went on smoothly, both of Houqin's parent left with a smile on their faces as they surprisingly got along much better than expected.
The thing that bothered them the most turned out to be the opposite. Both of them were overjoyed when they got to interact with Xiaoyun's kids.
