The whole guild knew about the "just a god" gag, hanging it on their lips every day.
For half an hour, Ruth finished talking about God Yi Lin descending like a deity and tearing apart the Demon King with bare hands.
"When the thick fog cleared, the captain and I were floating on the ravaged sea,"

"We were like lovers clinging to each other in the apocalypse,"
"So passionate, so entwined, beautiful yet sorrowful,"
The atmosphere suddenly became strange.
Ruth stretched out her two slender legs nervously, rubbing them together, her smooth foot arch twitching slightly in the sand, her round toes curled up. Every time she reminisced, Ruth would think of the captain's heroic demeanor back then, always feeling like the sand beneath her was wet by the sea. Annoying. She deliberately mimicked Yi Lin's tone in her soft voice:
"The captain said: Oh, My Dear, I won't be coming back."
