Sienna said nothing.
"Mom, do you know? Today, Miles didn't want to eat his sponge gourd with dried shrimp, and he cried! I'm not like him. I even eat vegetables I don't like now. I even helped him wipe his tears! Mom, am I a good girl?"
Sienna said nothing.
"Mom, guess what? The teacher told us a story about love! Mom, do you know what love is?"
Sienna was usually busy with work, so moments like this—taking her daughter for a stroll in the park—were rare. Sienna listened with curiosity and attention. "Curly, do you know what love is?"
