The two of them entered one after the other. In the dining room, Grandmother was eating, and Pauline Briggs was there too. As soon as Pauline saw Sienna Johnson, her face darkened.

Sienna sat down beside Grandmother. A servant immediately brought Sienna a bowl of bird's nest porridge. Sienna took a sip. The porridge was very well-made and delicious. She drank it in small sips. After she had finished half a bowl, Pauline couldn't hold back anymore.
