"Bill, I have to go."
"Where are you going?"
Adrian Desmond looked over and saw that Alice's eyes were red-rimmed. She bit her lip, as if to suppress her emotions. "Where can I go? Of course, I'm going back to the island. I'll wait for the next mission and come out again. Until one day, when someone kills me, I'll finally be free."
Adrian Desmond remained silent.
"I'm not like you; I'm not capable of escaping. My future is death! When I'm dead, I'll be liberated," she said pessimistically.
Adrian Desmond was silent again.
"Goodbye, Bill!"
Alice looked at Adrian Desmond reluctantly, her eyes full of affection and unwillingness, then turned to leave. Adrian suddenly said, "Stay!"
Alice thought she was hallucinating and stared incredulously at the man in front of her. Just now, he was desperately trying to get rid of her, but now he was inviting her to stay. She couldn't understand the man in front of her.
"What did you just say?"
