In the car, Sienna Johnson looked through the rearview mirror at Geral Powell, who was still standing there, and said to Adrian Desmond, "What on earth does Geral Powell want to do? Isn't he being a bit too enthusiastic towards us? Our relationship with the Carpenter Family is so tense right now. Logically, as Mr. Carpenter's adopted son, he should be siding with the Carpenter Family, but he's acting overly friendly."
"Who cares what he's doing." Adrian Desmond didn't take Geral Powell seriously.
Sienna felt a slight headache coming on. Her hand subconsciously went to her handbag as she instructed Adrian, "The genetic test—make sure you arrange for someone reliable to handle it."
"Mm-hm."
Adrian looked at Sienna's exhausted expression; she was slumped softly where she sat, unwilling to even budge.
"Very tired?"
"Emotionally exhausted."
Adrian reached out, took her hand, and said, "You shouldn't come to occasions like this in the future."
