"Secretary Winslow, since you opened this shop, why are you still working at my sister-in-law's company?
I think being your own boss is more comfortable than working for others," Paige Desmond asked.
"Because it doesn't make money," James Winslow said frankly.
"Such beautiful porcelain, and no one buys it?" Paige Desmond was surprised, especially since the prices weren't high.
"The location is a bit out of the way, and the price is somewhat high...
All these porcelain pieces are made by me, with a lot of effort, so I don't want to sell them cheaply.
The good thing is the house is mine, so there's no rent, and the biggest expense is hiring a sales clerk, which barely keeps things going," James Winslow said optimistically.
James Winslow glanced at Paige Desmond and asked, "Do you know how porcelain can be sold at a high price?"
"I don't know that,"
Paige Desmond had never earned a penny on her own in her life.
