Third person POV
Nate, Laura, Hale, and the tribespeople are shocked to hear his unexpected announcement. "H-Hold on!" Nate responded to this. "What do you mean I'll be the leader of your tribe, Sati-san?" Then, a member of the Undead dragon tribe in the form of a dragon, named Zeke, saw what was happening and descended from the sky and landed nearby.
Upon seeing him, Nate was scared to death. "He's going to eat me!" his mind yelled. But ironically, Sati greeted him, "Oh, hi there, Zeke-kun."
Nate was shocked to see that Sati and Zeke were on good terms with each other. "What?"
Then, Zeke looked at the young boy directly.
"H-Hi?" Nate looked at Zeke while being scared and fearful of him. "P-Please don't eat me…"
But it seemed that Zeke recognized him somehow, so he transformed into his human form, which was a strong warrior with dragon-scale armor.
Nate was stunned to see that, while Sati, Laura, and Hale were positive about it, as if they knew about it.
In terms of appearance, Zeke is a young man with purple hair and blood-red eyes.
"Greetings," Zeke greeted Nate while kneeling down on one knee for a couple of seconds.
"What the…?" Nate replied back to this.
"That'll be good," Zeke replied to Sati, Nate, and the others.
"What?" Nate responded to this towards him. "What do you mean by that?"
"I know what your kingdom did to you," Zeke replied back, "and I think you'll have a good life here."
Nate couldn't help but feel desperate because of his new position, which was pushed by Sati.
"It's your turn to be the leader of our tribe," Sati said to him while offering his wooden staff of leadership to him.
Because he has no choice, Nate eventually accepted it, and thus, he became the leader of Sati's Undead lion tribe.
The tribespeople then kneeled before him as a form of respect.
The next day after that, Nate began to think about how to handle and be in charge of a tribe.
"What if I could set some rules of conduct?" he thought. He then straightens his back and continue thinking, "That'll bring order."
Then, Zeke and Hale came to his tent home and asked him if he was ready to give out a speech to the tribespeople.
Upon hearing that, Nate looked at them. "Oh, yeah, I'll be there in a minute."
He then turned back and began drafting his speech notes on a scrap piece of paper that was torn from one of the books he had brought prior to his exile.
"Is that gonna be long, Nate-sama?" Hale asked him.
"This is gonna be fast!" answered Nate back.
He then started to write fast, before leaving his charcoal pencil behind and hurriedly stand up and left the tent with his paper note to give out a speech, where Sati, Laura, and the tribespeople are waiting for him.
At the front of the tent, Nate looked at them and their number. He then cleared his throat, and began to speak, "Everyone, thank you for choosing me as leader of this tribe. Today, I'll be setting out some rules of conduct."
This causes them to mutter to each other about what the rules might be.
"Rule number 1: No fighting," Nate said the first rule. "Peace is essential to harmony and unity, and I don't tolerate fighting at all."
Then, one of the tribespeople raised his hand and raised a question, "Um, what if I was standing next to another person, but that person had a grudge against me?"
"Good question," Nate responded back. "Just keep a distance between you and that person. It's better to set boundaries between one another. Do you had someone who holds a grudge against you?"
"No, I'm just asking just in case that scenario ever happened," that Undead lion, as a human, replied back.
"Okay then," Nate responded. "Rule number 2: Don't be selfish. Since I was a victim of a selfish noble family, I grew up not being selfish at all, and I want to apply that as a rule."
"So that means we should share our resources to each other all the time?" Sati raised a question.
"Not really," Nate answered back. "Just share how much you want and don't do it with selfish intentions. Do it on the purpose of being caring, okay?"
"Oh, okay," Sati responded.
"Rule number 3: Cooperate with one another," Nate continued on. "Cooperation is essential to survival."
"We actually do that in our tribe," Zeke commented.
"Oh really?" Nate responded back. "What tribe are you? You seemed to be different."
"I'm Zeke by the way," Zeke replied with an introduction, "and I'm from the Undead dragon tribe."
"Wow, that sounds interesting," Nate responded back.
"Yes, and I saw everything, including what Sati and his comrades did to you that night," Zeke revealed in response.
Nate was surprised because he hasn't met him before, even on that fateful night. "You saw everything? As in, you were there that time?"
Zeke then nodded. "Yes."
"I see," Nate responded.
He then turned towards the crowd and continued his speech, "Okay, I'm still working on more rules of conduct, so let's gather here for more updates. I'm young, so I'm still learning. Is that okay?"
While no one react to that, Sato decided to respond in their behalf with, "Sure, Nate-sama, just tell us when to gather here."
"Yes, I will," Nate agreed with him.
At that point, Nate thought, "This gonna be hard..."
