Chapter 1510 - Encountering a Pervert

Yuga was only a little drowsy from lying down; he hadn't fallen into deep sleep, so the commotion outside quickly brought his consciousness back.

"I don't know either. I'll go out and take a look right away," the attendant standing beside him respectfully said. Seeing that Gardevoir had slowed her movements, he added to her, "You continue, don't interrupt Mr. Shimizu's enjoyment."

Gardevoir nodded lightly and resumed her actions, but upon hearing the familiar voice outside, she found it hard to stay calm.

The attendant opened the massage room door and was just about to question what was going on outside when someone suddenly barged in and pushed him, nearly knocking him onto the floor.

Behind the intruder was another attendant who was trying his best to hold the person back, saying, "Sir, please, let's talk this out calmly. Please don't cause trouble."

But he clearly couldn't hold the intruder back and was nearly being dragged along.

"Where's Gardevoir? Where did Gardevoir go?"

The man shouted loudly, his voice seemingly amplified like he had a speaker installed—it made Yuga's head buzz. He had no choice but to sit up from the massage chair. Before he could say anything, the man charged up to him.

"So it's you, punk? You're the one who stole my Gardevoir?"

The intruder was a burly man, at least over two meters tall. Just standing there, he looked like a steel tower. He was wearing shorts and a vest and was now glaring at Yuga as he questioned him.

Yuga was completely baffled by the question. Instead of replying, he looked toward the attendant beside him, hoping for an explanation.

The attendant who had come with Yuga also looked troubled. He had no idea what was going on either and could only shake his head at Yuga repeatedly.

It was the other attendant, the one who had come in with the burly man, who rushed forward to try and calm the situation. "Sir, please calm down. Mr. Shimizu booked Gardevoir first. Why don't we switch to another technician? We still have other top-tier technicians in our establishment. They're definitely not inferior to Gardevoir."

By this point, Yuga more or less understood—so this was all about Gardevoir.

The burly man flung the attendant aside. He was extremely strong and shoved the attendant so hard that he fell right on his butt.

"Bullshit! Every time I've come here, Gardevoir has serviced me. Why the hell should I have to switch today?" As he spoke, the burly man reached out to grab Yuga's collar, growling in a threatening tone, "Kid, if you know what's good for you, give me Gardevoir!"

Yuga firmly grasped the man's wrist. The burly man instantly realized he couldn't move his hand. He tried pulling it back, but couldn't break free from Yuga's grip. A flicker of astonishment flashed across his face.

Yuga's body had been modified when Florges became a Legendary Pokemon. Though he might not be as strong as some Pokémon, no ordinary human could match him.

The man's strength, although impressive, was still within the range of a normal human's limits, and naturally couldn't do anything against Yuga.

At that moment, the attendant who had fallen to the floor rushed over again, trying to pull the burly man's hand away. Yuga followed his motion and let go of the man's wrist.

"Ouch, sir! Please! You really shouldn't provoke this gentleman. Let go, let go right now!"

Of course, the attendant couldn't possibly not recognize the famous Gym Leader of Verdanturf City. As for the burly man who didn't recognize Yuga—he was clearly from out of city.

Sensing Yuga's incredible strength, the man became wary and asked the attendant, "Is this the Gym Leader of Verdanturf City, Mr. Shimizu?"

A flash of surprise passed over the man's face, then he broke into hearty laughter and said, "Oh, so you're Mr. Shimizu! I've heard so much about you! Truly, a pleasure to meet you!" —Bullshit. Although he had heard that Verdanturf City had a strong Gym Leader, he had no clue what the guy's name was.

Yuga was impressed by how fast the man could switch faces. With a stern look, he asked, "So, mind telling me what you people are doing barging into my room?"

The burly man quickly replied, "It's all a misunderstanding, a big misunderstanding! I didn't know the guest inside was you, Mr. Shimizu!"

Yuga had no intention of pursuing the man's earlier rudeness, so he said expressionlessly, "In that case, you may leave."

But upon hearing this, the burly man said, "Mr. Shimizu, here's the thing: every time I've come here before, I specifically requested Gardevoir to give me a massage. Do you think you could let me have Gardevoir this time? Oh, and today's fees—I'll cover them all for you."

When Yuga heard that, he glanced at Gardevoir standing nearby, only to see her subtly shaking her head at him with a face full of reluctance. Clearly, she was very unwilling to serve the burly man.

Yuga didn't believe in forcing Pokémon against their will, so he refused, saying, "I'm not short on money. I'm very satisfied with Gardevoir's service, and I don't want to switch technicians right now."

The burly man's face froze instantly. "Would you… maybe reconsider? Think of it as making a friend."

The attendant on the side could sense the tension and was extremely anxious. He couldn't afford to offend either party.

Yuga said nothing more, simply lay back down on the massage chair and closed his eyes. Seeing this, Gardevoir hurried over and resumed the massage.

"If Mr. Shimizu isn't willing, then I'll take my leave,"

After a few seconds of silence, the burly man said that and turned to leave Yuga's massage room. The attendant who had come in with him also quickly followed after him.

After the burly man left, Yuga asked his own attendant, "Who was that just now? Why was he acting so arrogant?"

The attendant honestly didn't know. At their establishment, attendants usually served guests one-on-one, and under normal circumstances, the same guest would always be served by the same attendant. This not only affected the attendant's commission but also prevented internal competition and disorder.

Although that burly man had visited the club several times, he had always been served by the attendant who came with him. As for his background, the other attendants really weren't sure.

"Shall I go find out for you?" the attendant asked.

Yuga was the most distinguished guest of their club, and the club would do everything it could to fulfill any of his requests. The attendant, of course, was sharp and tactful.

Yuga nodded slightly and said, "Mm, go ahead."

"Got it!" the attendant responded and ran out of the massage room.

After the attendant left, Yuga turned to Gardevoir and asked, "You really don't like that man from earlier?"

"Gardevoir~"

"Really?" Upon hearing Gardevoir's words, Yuga opened his eyes wide in surprise.

"Gardevoir" Gardevoir nodded, her face flushed bright red.

"I didn't expect it to be a real-life case! What a pervert!" Yuga exclaimed.

So, it turned out that the burly man was an LSP (lewd scummy person), a Pervert, and the object of his desire wasn't even human—it was a Pokémon.

Every time Gardevoir gave him a massage, he would touch her inappropriately, making her suffer greatly. He had even tried to coax her into going home with him.

As if Gardevoir would ever agree.

But since the man was a paying customer at the club, he always acted in a way that was just subtle enough. Gardevoir couldn't even make a formal complaint if she wanted to.

Every time he came, he would specifically request her, and she couldn't refuse.

Once, Gardevoir even accidentally overheard the man telling their manager that he wanted to buy her from the club. Gardevoir was utterly terrified at that moment.

Thankfully, the manager didn't agree. Gardevoir was not only a very rare Pokémon, but it was also incredibly difficult to train one into a top-tier technician. How could the club just sell her away so casually?

Besides, this kind of transaction—buying and selling Pokémon like that—was illegal!

"Pervert! Totally a pervert!"

After hearing Gardevoir describe how the burly man harassed her, Yuga repeated those words several times. He had only ever read about such things in the news before—and those were usually the shady kind of news. He didn't expect to actually encounter something like this in real life!

The news stories usually described how someone fell in love with a certain Pokémon, or how someone married a Pokémon—always talking about "true love," "love that transcends species."

But that burly guy seemed to be purely lustful—it had nothing to do with love.

People's fetishes really were strange and varied.

However, Gardevoir really was beautiful, and also humanoid (in the literal sense). That burly man being aroused by her was still more normal than those people who fall in love with female Machamps—though, admittedly, female Machamps are also humanoid (and not just in appearance).

"I'll speak to your manager about it later."

This Gardevoir didn't have telepathy, so expecting her to report it herself was unrealistic.

Upon hearing this, Gardevoir was immediately moved to tears with gratitude toward Yuga.

Not long after, the attendant who had gone out to gather information returned. As soon as he entered the room, he said, "Mr. Shimizu, I found out! It took me quite a bit of effort…"

Actually, he had just gone straight to ask their manager. Once he mentioned Mr. Shimizu wanted to know, the manager told him everything right away. But in order to appear like he had put in some hard work, he certainly couldn't say that.

That burly man's name was Gillette. He used to be part of the League's military, and apparently he even held a rather high position back then. Later, no one knows what mistake he made, but he was dismissed from his post by the higher-ups.

It was classified, and even the manager didn't know the exact reason.

But even though he had been dismissed, he still had old connections in the League military, so wherever he went, people treated him with respect.

The manager quietly told the attendant that although that man acted extremely arrogant toward everyone, in truth he had never actually offended anyone important. And even if he had offended someone, it was always just small, irrelevant people.

It was said that Gillette was now secretly working as a bounty hunter.

Bounty hunting was a kind of shady profession. Proper League Trainers wouldn't do it, because not only was the crime rate high in that line of work, but it was also looked down upon by other Trainers.

However, that bit of information was just something people gossiped about privately—whether it was true still remained to be confirmed.

The attendant relayed everything the manager had told him to Yuga without leaving anything out.

After listening, Yuga waved his hand and said, "Alright, I got it."

Upon hearing what the attendant had said, Gardevoir revealed a troubled expression. Seeing this, Yuga comforted her by saying, "Don't worry, I'll take care of what I promised you."

Only then did Gardevoir let out a sigh of relief, though she still seemed a bit worried.

The attendant asked foolishly, "What's wrong with Gardevoir? Did she cause you trouble?"

Yuga glanced at him and said, "This doesn't concern you. Don't ask."

The attendant grinned and said, "Got it, I won't ask, I won't ask." After speaking, he respectfully stepped aside.

When the time was about right, Yuga stood up to leave. He looked at the attendant and asked, "Where's your manager? Do they have time to see me for a moment?"

The attendant immediately put on a flattering smile and said, "Of course! Please wait here, I'll go get the manager for you right away."

In no time at all, the attendant returned with the manager. As soon as they entered the room, the manager greeted him with a beaming smile and said, "Mr. Shimizu, long time no see. Were you satisfied with today's service?"

"It was alright," Yuga nodded, then looked at the attendant. "You step out for now. I want to speak privately with your manager."

Since this involved Gardevoir's privacy, Yuga thought it best not to let too many people know about it.

"Yes, sir." The attendant obediently exited the room.

"I wonder what Mr. Shimizu wants to speak about?" the manager asked curiously. "If there's anything I can do, please don't hesitate to say it."

"It's like this…"

Yuga then told the manager about Gardevoir's situation.

After hearing it all, the manager was stunned. He hadn't expected Gillette to have such preferences. Back when Gillette had expressed his desire to buy Gardevoir, the manager hadn't thought too much of it. But now that he thought about it…

"This... this is something we really didn't expect either..." the manager stammered. If this kind of thing were to get out, it would severely damage the reputation of their establishment—people would think they couldn't even protect their own technicians.

Yuga continued, "There are some customers your establishment really shouldn't spoil too much. Although they say 'the customer is God,' you still need to consider what kind of person that customer is."

"Yes, yes, you're absolutely right," the manager quickly agreed. He then looked at Gardevoir and said, "In the future, if that person comes again, we'll help you reject his request for you."

"Gardevoir~"

Gardevoir was instantly overjoyed.

"Alright, I've said everything I needed to say. I'll be taking my leave now," Yuga said as he stood up and walked toward the exit.

"I'll walk you out," the manager quickly offered. "We must take responsibility for the incident that happened to you today, so the cost of services for you and your Pokémon will be waived."

"Then thank you very much." Yuga didn't refuse.

By the time Yuga returned to the main hall, Ninetales and Doudou were already waiting for him.

"How come you're even slower than we are?" Ninetales complained.

After their treatments, both Ninetales and Doudou looked radiant, especially Ninetales. Her fur was sleek and glossy, glowing as if her whole body were shining. Even the Pokémon of other guests in the lounge were sneaking glances at her.

\( ̄︶ ̄)/ Ninetales proudly raised her head: Behold, my beauty is unmatched in the world!

Doudou, on the other hand, simply looked much healthier and more refreshed.

"Alright, let's go home," Yuga said.

Just as he was about to leave with Ninetales and Doudou, he saw Gillette coming out as well, accompanied by his Pokémon.

"Running into Mr. Shimizu again—what a coincidence, huh?"

In the same establishment, running into each other wasn't exactly strange. What's this talk about fate? Yuga couldn't help but mentally complain, his gaze falling on the Pokémon next to Gillette.

A Delphox.

Yuga couldn't help but shiver. Ugh... could this guy have laid hands on his own Pokémon?

Seeing that Yuga didn't respond, Gillette said again, "Heading out, Mr. Shimizu? I'm just about to leave too—how about we go together?"

Yuga came back to his senses. "Ah? Sure."

So the two of them walked out with their Pokémon, engaging in casual and meaningless small talk. Yuga noticed that Gillette kept casting glances at Doudou and Ninetales, intentionally or not, so he quickly moved to block his view with his body.

Gillette grinned and said, "Mr. Shimizu, these two Pokémon of yours are really something!"

Ninetales, unaware of the situation, suddenly shivered.

Hmm? What's going on? Why does it suddenly feel chilly?
