He still thought she was that little girl who would only run around following him everywhere.
His earlier words were spoken in a moment of anger, but his tone softened instinctively, "You've hit me, you've vented your anger, Jiayin, be good now."
He understood Jiayin's temper. If she wasn't allowed to let out her frustrations, she'd likely feel suffocated; that's why he hadn't stopped her at first.
Jiayin let out a quiet laugh and lifted her head to look at him. "Be good? Ye Wuge, what am I to you in your heart?"
Ye Wuge pressed his lips together, saying nothing in response.
