Charles White threw a punch, knocking the man to the ground, and immediately pulled Zoe Yale behind him, narrowing his dark eyes, fiercely glaring at Diego Larson who tried to take advantage of her.
He had been following them for a day, watching another man curry favor in front of her, and it almost drove him mad.
So many times, he couldn't control his urge to take her away.
But he was worried she would get angry, so he restrained himself in the end.
Who knew Diego would be so bold, trying to kiss her!
One punch wasn't enough for Charles. Just as he was about to throw another one, Zoe seemed to come to her senses, forcefully shaking off his hand, and turned to run towards Diego who was sprawled on the ground.
"Brother Diego, are you okay?" Zoe reached out to help Diego up, noticing the bloodstain at the corner of his mouth, slightly stunned, and glared at Charles White.
He had been gone for so long, then showed up and immediately started a fight.
