But he waited for half a day, and did not see any trace of surprise on Harrison Yale's face.
His expression didn't change; he just stood there calmly, looking at him.
Collins Aiden thought he hadn't heard what he had just said clearly, so he repeated it again.
"I asked you to come here to call off your engagement with Emma Aiden."
This time, Collins Aiden deliberately raised his voice.
But after he spoke, Harrison Yale's expression still didn't change in the slightest. He didn't even look at him, but instead walked straight to Emma Aiden, pulling her up from the sofa.
"Is calling off the engagement your idea?" Harrison Yale grasped her wrist, his fingers silently tightening.
"No." Emma Aiden said without thinking.
After speaking, she looked at Collins Aiden.
"It's Dad's idea. I didn't say anything, nor did I know you would come."
Hearing this, Harrison Yale's facial expression eased slightly.
