When he woke up, Emma Aiden finally understood what it meant to shoot herself in the foot.
She was afraid he'd catch a cold wearing wet clothes, so she kindly helped him change, but ended up in a situation she couldn't explain her way out of.
"Is your last name No and first name Excuses?"
She had good intentions to care for him, the patient, yet she was doubted.
Emma Aiden planted her hands on her waist and stared at him with wide eyes.
"Yes, I did it all. What are you going to do about it? Want to see it again?"
"..." Would she really let him see it if he wanted to?
Harrison Yale's gaze deepened.
"Of course not!" Emma Aiden saw through his thoughts and suddenly added.
She had already looked, and now he wanted to come to settle scores with her — too late.
She'd taken advantage and was not admitting it, no matter what.
"Your fever has subsided. If you don't want to burn again, quickly change out of those wet clothes. I'll go have dinner prepared."
