Three young girls were bowing apologetically in front of Lily, their attitude seeming sincere.

Lily knew, of course, that their hearts weren't bad; they were merely fond of standing up for what's right and were too impulsive, which led to their misunderstanding of her.

"Let it go. It was just a trifle, all a big misunderstanding," Lily said, taking out her wallet. "How much is the cleaning fee for the sofa? Tell me so I can compensate you."

With Lily being so magnanimous, the three waitresses were reluctant to accept her money, insisting repeatedly that it wasn't necessary.

Finding herself unable to insist, Lily had to let it go.

Seeing that Lily wasn't holding a grudge, the three immediately breathed sighs of relief.

One of the girls couldn't help herself and handed a small notebook to David Redington.
