After leaving Emily Taylor's room, Lily and Aidan Lucas went to the lawn behind the villa.
The area was spacious and wide open, with no need to worry about being overheard.

Lily held onto Aidan's arm, her eyes filled with worry.

Emily had just told them that although she did indeed tell Dominic Taylor about Mr. Lucas's split personality, the recording Theodore Lucas played had been tampered with.
She had never said Mr. Lucas was ill, much less claimed he had self-harm tendencies.
The recording was fake; as long as they could get evidence, they could turn the situation around when the time came.
