"Ethan, take Ben and go!" Lily shouted to Aidan Lucas without a second thought.
Even speaking like this, the pain from the wound at the corner of her mouth was overwhelming.
But Lily felt nothing.
"No, let mom go..." Little Ben squeezed his head out of Lily's embrace, his usually calm face now flushed red.
Mom is the most important. If something happens to her, he would rather not exist in this world.
"Ben, what nonsense are you talking!" Lily, filled with tears, held Ben Lucas tightly, cupping his little face, "You're mom's treasure, mom won't let anything happen to you. Be good, don't make mom worry. You go out first..."
After speaking, Lily held him in her arms before Ben could say a word.
Then she looked up at Aidan Lucas.
As their eyes met, Lily was thankful Ben didn't see the resoluteness in Aidan Lucas's eyes.
She knew, she always knew.
No matter which personality of Aidan Lucas it was, she was the most important to them.
