Keira Leaf's mind was a bit chaotic, yet she could see clearly—her concern for the child was genuine.
Until twenty minutes later, Joshua Sulliven came out of the bathroom.
After drying his hair, he pushed the two beds together again, then lay down beside Keira Leaf, gently wrapping an arm around her.
The lights were adjusted to be dim again, and Keira Leaf couldn't help but speak: "Joshua Sulliven."
"Hmm?"
"I saw Alice Smith today, but she has a child…"
Joshua Sulliven remained silent without answering. Keira Leaf gently turned to look at him: "Did you see her when you brought me to the hospital?"
He softly kissed her eyes: "She left after you were out of danger. She said she'd send the child back first and come to see you early tomorrow morning."
Keira Leaf froze for a moment and gripped his arm with more force: "Are you saying she's really Alice Smith?"
"Mm, she's Alice."
"But wasn't she already dead?" Keira Leaf couldn't help asking.
"Does Shane Winchester know?"
