Keira Leaf hoarsely spoke in a soft voice, "Annie, I'm going to take a bath..."
Annie Taylor hesitated for a moment then nodded, "Okay, I'll wait outside, call me if you need anything."
Keira Leaf nodded slightly, supported herself against the sink, raised her hand to turn on the shower, letting the cold water hit her body heavily.
The water stream was strong and it hurt when it fell on the wound. The icy water made her shiver involuntarily.
Keira Leaf raised her fingers, gently wiping the glass in the bathroom, staring blankly at her pale, ghostly face, devoid of any expression. She wanted to smile but couldn't, so much so that she didn't notice the ointment being washed away from her body.
After half an hour, Keira Leaf came out with her hair soaked, Annie Taylor pulled her over, and feeling her cold hands, frowned tightly, "Let me blow-dry your hair."
Keira Leaf sat dazed in front of the dressing mirror, without any reaction.
