Joshua Sulliven frowned, watching the woman in front of him with her little mouth agape, full of fear.
Only when the view in front of her gradually became clearer did Keira Leaf finally see who the man in front of her was: "Jacob Sydney, why are you at my doorstep? Are you trying to scare me to death?"
Keira Leaf's chest heaved violently, almost getting a heart attack from being scared by the man next door.
"Look, even Alexandra wasn't scared." Joshua Sulliven spoke plainly.
Keira Leaf lowered her head and looked at Alexandra in her arms. The little one wasn't even slightly scared, her bright black eyes round and full as she looked at Jacob Sydney, then grinned foolishly, utterly adorable.
Keira Leaf rolled her eyes. He grabbed her, so it's normal Alexandra wasn't scared. Even if she did get scared, it would probably be from Keira's shouting.
If it were a normal day, Keira Leaf might argue back a few words.
