The Chairman of the Board watched the back of Lewis Brandon, then withdrew his gaze and scolded his son, Michael Douglas, harshly: "Michael Douglas, I'm telling you! Stop befriending those wine-and-dine companions! Always thinking of mingling with those sketchy characters, you'll be hurt someday and not even realize it!"
The Chairman's voice was loud enough that Lewis Brandon, who hadn't yet left, heard it clearly. He immediately paused, turned back with an ugly expression, and looked at the Douglas father and son.
What does this father and son mean?
Are they really trying to humiliate him, the Young Master of the Brandon Family, over a mere little photographer!
Michael Douglas seemed unaware that his father would speak to him this way, and after hesitating for a brief moment, he said again right away, "Dad, I understand, don't worry."
